Bullet Echo: A Beginner’s Guide

What are the main resources in the game and what are they for? Resources can be obtained for leveling up, on the Path of Glory, as well as for opening various chests. There are several types of resources in the game:

  1. Coins are needed to train heroes.
  2. Bucks are premium currency. Can be used to replace other resources, obtain a new mission, or maintain a win streak.
  3. Batteries are needed to upgrade the abilities of the heroes.

Why do you need chests and how to get them? Chests supply you with everything you need to level up your characters. They can contain hero cards, gold, bucks and batteries. Also, absolutely from any chest with a small chance a new hero can drop out. There are currently nine types of chests in Bullet Echo:

What are Missions? Missions are tasks, completing which, you will receive an additional reward. After completing the mission, a timer is hung up until a new one is received. While the countdown is running, tasks cannot be completed. Having paid a certain amount of bucks, you can skip the timer and get a new mission right away. If you don’t like a mission, you can replace it for free. You can only replace one mission per day.

How do I add a person as a friend? You always have the opportunity to add any player as a friend. To do this, you need to know its ID. Another option is an invitation that you can send to any social network. After following the link, the player will be redirected to Google Play or the App Store. After a friend downloads the game, you will have the opportunity to add him to your friend list and conquer the top of the Bullet Echo leaderboards together. At the moment, you can only play with a friend in the "Battle Royale" mode.

How to join a team or create your own? By clicking on the "Team" button in the upper right corner of the screen, you can create your own team and invite your friends (who are currently online) to it or join an existing one, for this you need a team ID. Your friend can share the team ID with you or send an invitation right inside the game. In this case, the battle will begin only when all the fighters in the team confirm their readiness.

You can create a team of three to play the Battle Royale mode, or a team of five to play Wall to Wall. Teams can be created and disbanded over and over again, since there is no limit on creating teams in the game. You can create a team of three to play the Battle Royale mode, or a team of five to play Wall to Wall.

What are Championship and Leagues? The Championship is a competitive mode that consists of 20 leagues. The goal of the Championship is to reach the last league and become the champion. By reaching a specific league in a championship, players can also unlock new game modes.

One round of the Championship lasts 48 hours. At the end of the round, the best players in the group advance to the next league. The exact number of players depends on the actual group size. For example, if the group is full and there are enough players in it, then the first 3 people will get to the next league. To get to the first places, you will need to win battles and earn tokens. The number of tokens per battle depends on how well you fought.

You can also instantly advance to the next league if you make a winning streak. The number of battles in which you need to win in a row depends on which league you are in. The higher the league, the longer the win streak will be for an instant transition.

What is the Path of Glory? This is the scale of your achievements in battles. Having filled a certain number of cups, you can exchange them for valuable prizes. To do this, open the "Path of Glory" tab and exchange the earned cups for awards. The more cups, the better the reward.

What modes are there in the game, and how are they different? The game has three modes:

  1. Battle Royale is a competition between teams of 3 fighters. Five teams take part in each battle, the team whose player dies / is the last to live wins.
  2. King of the Hill is a single player game. A harsh battle for survival, where there is no room for mutual assistance and team spirit. Again, the fighter who managed to live the longest wins. The mode opens at the second stage of the first league.
  3. Wall to wall - in this mode, available from the third stage of the first league, the most ambitious battles take place. You are going to take part in a bloody clash between two teams of 5 fighters. Be careful, as the mode is only available for 30 minutes 3 times a day, and here it is very important not to miss the moment!

What is a Special Operation? E is periodical game event in which to carry out a specific purpose, in order to fill the scale of progress and earn rewards. Using certain heroes in Special Ops will increase your score multiplier and allow you to progress through the event faster. For the complete completion of the objectives of the special operation, you will receive a unique reward that can only be obtained in this mode - Joker Cards (can be used to improve any unlocked fighter).

In the special operation mode, you will not receive cups and championship tokens, and victories in the mode are not counted in the progress bar of the combat chest. However, your achievements in Special Operations will count towards missions.

Bullet Echo: Character Leveling

How to unlock and upgrade heroes? There are three main ways in the game to unlock new characters:

  1. Victories in battles.
  2. Opening chests. There are no new heroes only in the Free chest and in the Participant’s chest.
  3. Shopping in the store. Some special offers may also contain previously unopened fighters. The loot is the most generous in the chest with the cards!
  4. For reaching some leagues in the championship, you will also receive new heroes. If you already own this hero, you will receive cards to improve it. You can see which heroes you will receive in the "Leagues" menu (under the avatar in the upper left corner).

Hero improvements:

Why are character cards needed and how do I get them? Character cards are needed to increase the rank of a hero. How many cards you have at the moment, you can see in the "Heroes" tab. It also displays how many cards you need to collect to increase the rank. Random character cards drop from all chests. A chest with cards can be purchased at the store.

Why are batteries needed and how do I get them? Batteries are needed to enhance the hero’s abilities. They can be earned by playing matches, obtained from some chests (for example, from the League Chest), and exchanged for trophies in the Path of Glory.

What is Hero Rank? Each character has its own rank. Each rank opens up new levels of a warrior, abilities, and increases his strength in general. The rank can be increased every 10 levels of the hero, with a certain number of cards and gold. At the moment there are 7 ranks:

  1. Usual.
  2. Rare.
  3. Epic.
  4. Legendary.
  5. Mythical.
  6. Higher.
  7. Ultimate.

Bullet Echo: Combat Tips

Shooting and field of view. You will only see your part of the map in battle, but the Visor (an upgrade with the image of binoculars) helps to expand the boundaries of visibility. The map is dark, and you can only see supplies, upgrades, and enemies up close. Shooting starts automatically when the enemy enters the attack zone. It is represented by a cone of red light coming from the weapon. The size of the attack zone depends on the hero’s weapon.

Walls and objects on the map stop bullets and projectiles, unless the hero’s weapon allows you to shoot through walls. Obstacles like crates and doorways allow you to shoot from cover if you can catch an enemy in the attack area while partially behind the obstacle.

As you move, your shooting accuracy gets worse. Movement expands the attack area, and shots can fly past the enemy. You should stop to aim, then your shots will become more accurate.

Shooting is a noisy business and your enemies can hear it. They can also see projectile tracks if opponents are close, or Shoot icons in the direction of noise if they are far enough away. In other words, shooting reveals your location - remember this if you want to win!

Movement. The joystick on the left side of the screen adjusts the character’s speed. To walk slowly, slide it gently out of place. To accelerate, pinch and point forward. The right side of the screen is responsible for rotating the camera. Swipe left or right to turn around. The yellow circle around the warrior reflects the noise level when walking. The faster you move, the louder the steps, and the easier it is for your opponent to spot you. You can even be heard through the wall! You should slow down to avoid drawing attention.

Shooting accuracy also depends on the speed of the hero. It is recommended that you slow down your run first in order to aim better. In some cases, it is important to stay still. The resurrection of an ally will be interrupted if you move. You must beware of the circle of death! Over time, the map shrinks. Follow the yellow cross to stay in the safe area.

Maps and their features. Battles in the game take place on maps that are randomly selected for each battle. In the "Royal Battle" mode, before the start of the battle, you can select a zone on the map where your team will land. Your mission will begin at this starting point. Experienced players advise:

  1. As long as you don’t have ammunition, your hero is pretty weak and can be attacked by the enemy team. The safest way to collect upgrades and ammo is in the starting zone, because here you can be covered by your comrades.
  2. If you study in advance the location of obstacles on the map (walls, boxes, cars), you can use this knowledge in battle as a tactical advantage. It should be borne in mind that only heroes with small body sizes, for example, scouts, can crawl through narrow openings in the wall.
  3. It’s best to avoid open areas because you can easily fall prey to snipers.
  4. You should look around more often in search of a wall that will hide you from unwanted glances and provide security for the blind spot.

Team play. In some modes, you will need to play as a team. This has several advantages:

In such matches, it is extremely important to cooperate and help each other. You need to be prepared for the fact that you will not always come across only the most experienced and skillful allies. It should be remembered that everyone plays as best they can. Everyone was just learning to play, everyone has bad days. Even if you are not on the most successful team, this is not a reason to ruin the game for everyone. It is necessary to be restrained and patient. You can set a personal example for the rest.

Bullet Echo: Hero Stats Overview

There are always special symbols on the map that indicate the location of items and improvements that will help you in battle.

Items ( to collect this resource, just stand on it, the collection time is 2 seconds):

You can also mark an item for your allies by clicking on it. The backlight lasts 15 seconds.

Upgrades affect the characteristics of your hero. They are displayed in the lower right corner of the screen:

Health and armor. In skirmishes, armor is spent first, and then health. To pick up or restore armor, step on the armor icon. The amount of maximum armor can be increased by improving the heroes and their abilities.

The first aid kit can restore health. To do this, click on the first aid kit icon on the right side of the screen. The higher the level of the hero, the more first aid kits you can carry. During the treatment, the heroes are vulnerable - they cannot defend themselves and move more slowly. To interrupt the treatment, click on the first-aid kit icon again.

Attention: health during battle and healing is restored gradually!

Heroes such as Arnie, Cyclops, Spark, Hurricane, Levi, Doc, Satoshi and Stalker have the ability to restore armor and health not only to themselves, but also to allies, if they are within the radius of the skill.

Weapons and skills of heroes. The weapon is assigned to the hero and cannot be changed. You can find various improvements on the map to pump it during the battle. Each hero has four special skills that help him or his allies in battle. You can find information about them in the hero card. The skills have 15 levels. You need to pump skills to improve your hero.

Bullet Echo: All Characters and Their Abilities

At the time of this writing, there are 21 characters in the game. Each hero has their own unique abilities. Also, the warriors are divided by class and type of carried weapon. These indicators determine the strength, amount of health and battle tactics. For example, a sniper can see at long distances, and a warrior with a shotgun has a small field of view.

The most important thing to know about heroes is that there are no bad characters in this game. Each fighter is good in his own way. It should be understood what role this or that warrior plays. All the qualities of the heroes are revealed at high levels.

In order to choose a hero for further pumping, it is important to know what skills will be revealed, what they will give, and how they will affect the characteristics of the warrior. If you know which character is in front of you, then it will be easier for you to confront him, or run away from him.

Bullet Echo: TOP Best Characters (Tier List)

Bastion - this hero belongs to the Tank class, that is, he has a lot of health points and armor. He also has a passive ability to restore armor. Also, the character has an active skill "Shield", which can absorb a very large amount of damage, which saves not only you, but also your allies if you play as a team. It is worth considering that he has a lot of ammo, which is enough for 3 enemies, taking into account his spread.

Satoshi - this hero has a very good damage per second. At the mythical rank, you can get 2 command passive ability, which will add several units to armor. At the same time, when you kill an enemy, you get 500 units to armor.

Levy - According to experienced players, this is one of the best characters in the game. She has a very cool 1 skill - "Thermal Imager", this ability allows you to see opponents not only in stealth mode, but also rivals outside the walls. This gives Levy the ability to shoot through walls. The character has a team healing that allows you to protect your allies a little with your health.

Freddie - at the time of this writing, this warrior has the highest damage per second. But, unfortunately, he is a scout, so he has little health and armor. He has a good "Grenade" ability, and has positive effects when taking damage. If you survive after the attack, you will receive an increase in movement speed and the speed of picking up items. If you are using the Stimulator first aid kit, you will also increase your running speed. That is, in a few seconds you can run half a map, collect a lot of things, and kill a couple of rivals on the way. But you need to learn how to play it.

Dragoon - it has many advantages. Firstly, he is a tank, that is, he has a lot of health points and armor. Secondly, it does not have weak damage. Thirdly, it has a high rate of fire, so its damage per second is very high. He has 28 rounds in a clip (this is an excellent indicator). Dragoon has one of the highest cooldowns. Although the hero belongs to the Tank class, he is quite mobile thanks to his passive skills. He has a wonderful skill "Jump", which makes it possible to instantly avoid the fight and achieve his goal.

Angel is this hero who can easily counter the Dragoon. She has many interesting abilities that allow her to resist more resilient warriors. The "Shield" will help her survive, as the Angel is the Scout. But the fact that she is a Scout, the Angel is small in size, that is, it can go through almost anywhere, and it is also more difficult to get into it. At the same time, she has a high speed. She has a "Stimulator", which can not only heal the hero, but also speed it up (can be used with full health), making it possible to quickly leave the fight.

Bullet Echo: Connect to Game

Can I play Bullet Echo without internet? Not. Bullet Echo is a multiplayer game that requires a constant connection to the server.

I lost my connection and flew out during the fight. Will I be given awards? Yes, you will receive rewards for the battle even if your internet connection is interrupted.

Why can’t I update the game? Once the server work is complete, you will see a pop-up asking you to download the update before continuing the game. You should click the "Update" button to go to the store page where you can download the new version of Bullet Echo. If you don’t see the Update button, then try the following:

  1. Download a little later. Updating is a complex process, the speed of which depends on the efficiency of the store. Sometimes it takes additional time before an update becomes available.
  2. You need to check for a new version in the "Updates" tab (in Google Play - click on the three horizontal lines in the left corner of the screen, then My Apps and Games, the "Updates" tab). Sometimes the system "hides" updates there, but does not display them on the game page.
  3. You need to close the game, then open the store application, and try to find Bullet Echo manually. Very often this problem is solved in this way, and the "Update" button appears on the game page in the store.
  4. If all else fails, restart your device and repeat steps 2 and 3.
  5. Also, your gadget may be overloaded with temporary data. If you have Android, then we recommend clearing the Google Play cache. To do this, open the Settings of the phone (tablet), then go to the Applications section. Then open the Google Play item, go to Memory / Storage, and click the "Clear cache" button.
  6. As a last resort, you can reinstall the game (uninstall and download again). But if you decide to go this route, you need to make sure that your progress has been saved to the cloud.

Why am I dropping the connection? First you need to make sure your smartphone is connected to a stable network (Wi-Fi or 3G / 4G). Even if the device indicators show that the connection is good, it can be slow and congested, especially if you are playing in moving vehicles.

Game won’t load or crash (Android):

  4. The developers do not guarantee the stable operation of the game if it is used with a jailbreak.
  5. If all else fails, it is recommended to contact support and provide information about your device and OS version.
