Conflict of Nations: A Beginner’s Guide

Conflict of Nations is a well-designed realistic grand strategy game from Bytro Labs. The company specializes in the production of strategies for mobile devices, and this game is one of the best developments.

In the game, you control the course of world history. Choose the country you want to lead and get ready for the third world war. You need to seize resources, conclude diplomatic agreements and strengthen the economy of your country.

Create destructive weapons of mass destruction and transform your country into the strongest superpower on the planet. The choice is yours, make an alliance or seize the lands of your neighbors, declare a cold war or arrange a nuclear disaster.

The game is based on a detailed combat system that allows you to control the nation and military forces in real time. Sometimes it takes several hours to complete the assigned tasks, so the player needs to think carefully and plan all his actions.

To win, you need to achieve economic efficiency and technological superiority over other nations. You must competently manage the economy, armed forces and conduct scientific research to expand your army.

Forming strong alliances and coalitions is also an integral part of the game. You can form teams and interest groups to achieve joint victory and superiority over other users.

Interface. The main game screen is a campaign map that you can zoom in and out. At the bottom there are buttons for navigating through the main sections. On the right is the button to go to the player’s profile and the list of events.

Above is the country flag, resources, calendar and player level. In the settings, you can enable / disable the background sound, sound effects and basic elements for controlling the map.

Campaign. The game can last from several days to several weeks. The strategy and planning you choose will be critical to your success, as you must anticipate and get ahead of your opponents.

The goal is to capture as many territories as possible. The campaign is won by the user who earns the most victory points first. If you are fighting in a coalition, then you need to jointly earn the maximum number of points for such alliances.

Victory points can be obtained by conquering a province or city in enemy territory. At the end of the campaign, each player receives money and gold in proportion to the number of points earned.

You can only understand and understand the gameplay during the campaign. Sometimes campaigns with four times the speed of passage are available for the game. These quick games are great for beginners to learn.

Research. Before a specific unit can be produced and mobilized, it must be unlocked in the research branch of your military doctrine. Also, you must have certain buildings before mobilizing troops.

The requirements for each unit can be seen in the research section. To mobilize it, you need to spend the appropriate resources. The maintenance of mobilized units also requires a waste of resources.

Develop your economy so as not to face a lack of resources in the midst of a military conflict.

Moral spirit. A healthy nation spirit influences production, troop mobilization and reduces the risk of insurgency. Each province has its own morale indicator, you need to support all of them.

Committing war crimes can lower the morale of all your provinces at the same time.

Diplomacy. Use diplomacy to your advantage to forge mutually beneficial relationships with other players. At the beginning of the game, it is better to maintain good relations with neighboring countries, this will allow battles to be carried out in remote territories without fear of invasion by neighbors. However, be careful, neighbors can take advantage of your gullibility and attack.

Stay tuned to the news to learn about the official statements of other players and adjust the tactics of the game.

Offline game. When you exit the app, the game does not pause, battles continue, and other players plan their actions. However, the characteristics of the units are balanced towards the protection of territories. When other players attack you while you are offline, your army will hold the defense on its own.

When leaving the game, use protective bonuses to strengthen the protection of your territories.

Rank. During the game, you will receive experience points that affect your game rank. Experience points can be obtained by defeating enemy units, conquering cities and provinces, and completing tasks to build objects.

Each rank consists of several additional ranks. As soon as you gain the required amount of experience points and get a new rank, it will no longer be possible to lower it.

Conflict of Nations: All Unit Information

Units are combat units from which you will create your army and conquer the world. You will start each campaign with several units that will be deployed in your cities.

To mobilize new units, it is necessary to conduct appropriate research and build the necessary buildings in cities. Also, several detachments of units can be connected to strengthen them.

If you exceed the number of units in a squad, you will receive a penalty and reduce the combat power of the squad. The add button can be colored yellow, orange or red, which reflects the degree of negative consequences when a unit is added.

You can experiment with connecting units and matching combinations to suit your play style.

9 types of units are available for research, of which the composition of your army will be formed in the future:

By clicking the Details button on the card of any unit or improvement, you can get information about the cost of research and daily maintenance, behavior in a certain area. The main combat properties of the unit are also available for study:

Infantry

The infantry is the basis for the formation of the army. The development of each branch of research opens up the possibility of using a specific strategy. For example, focus on the speed of movement of troops, or on its strength.

Only infantry can capture a city or province. If you are unable to capture territory, make sure you have infantry in your army.

Motorized infantry. Light infantry with advantage in defending cities during enemy attacks. Not suitable for offensive use as they have low firepower. American JLTV, Russian Cleaver, German LGS Fenek are represented.

Mechanized infantry. Armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles are suitable for transporting infantry and fighting. They perform well in open areas and poorly on rough terrain. Transport requires good maintenance, most of all fuel and people resources are expended.

Marines. Heavy infantry suitable for coastal landings and attacks on well-defended cities. They can withstand enemy counterattacks, and after improvement they receive protection from weapons of mass destruction. Poorly on rough terrain.

Airborne infantry. Designed to quickly intervene in a battle. Easily navigate to anywhere using helicopters. They have the ability to attack from the air, so they can easily penetrate the rear of the enemy.

Special Forces. Soldiers are trained to fight in rough terrain. Possesses high indicators of health and secrecy. It cannot capture cities and provinces, unlike other types of infantry.

National Guard. Well suited for the defense of cities, it is better to use aircraft for transfer. The health of the guard depends on the morale of the population of the city in which the mobilization takes place. After upgrading, they become resistant to the effects of chemical weapons.

Armored vehicles

The armored vehicles are designed to accompany the infantry, increase firepower and protection. A wide selection of equipment to implement your plan, you can choose combat amphibians and strengthen the marines, or you can create a squad to destroy enemy tanks.

Reconnaissance fighting vehicle. A lightly armored squad designed to carry out recon missions. Combines high protection and high mobility. Used to locate and identify ground units that can lead an attack.

Armored combat vehicle. The backbone of the armored squad, well-equipped vehicles with a high defense rate. A good option for conducting an offensive at the initial stage of the game, since the vehicles are effective against both infantry and armored units.

Fighting vehicle amphibious. Tracked and wheeled vehicles capable of overcoming water and ground obstacles. Mainly designed to support the Marine Corps. When improved, they can take advantage of airlift and get protection from nuclear weapons.

Battle tank. Well-armored, reliable and maneuverable vehicles. Used to break through the defense and attack behind enemy lines. Tanks are vulnerable in urban and rough terrain.

Tank Destroyer. Designed to defeat and destroy enemy armored vehicles. Poorly on rough terrain. To implement strategic moves, airlift is possible.

Support squads

The units are designed primarily for ground combat missions, but they can operate in shallow water. Support squads can provide assistance to the main troops on any terrain.

Towed guns. Artillery is the deadliest type of ground weapon. The guns can be towed by land or air to anywhere in the world. They shoot from a long trajectory at moving targets.

Mobile artillery. Designed for long-range pinpoint strikes. The artillery mount is lightly armored, therefore it requires protection from air and ground attacks.

Rocket launcher. Provides support for troops on the battlefield, damaging the enemy with heavy fire. The installation is expensive to mobilize and maintain, but has high performance.

Anti-aircraft gun. A motorized anti-aircraft complex that protects troops from an air threat. Specializes in the destruction of helicopters, but does not perform well on rough terrain.

SAM Launcher. Surface-to-air missile launchers provide protection for troops from fighters and medium-range missiles. Thanks to the presence of a radar, it can detect ground, air and sea units.

Protection system. Long-range missile systems are capable of providing air cover for your troops. Able to detect approaching fighters and missiles of different ranges.

Radar. Mobile vehicle. The radar is capable of detecting most land, air and sea units. Must be used to predict enemy attacks.

Helicopters

Air combat units operating at low altitude, which makes it possible to attack ground targets. Helicopters are an excellent solution when you need to move troops and immediately intervene.

Combat helicopters. They are well equipped and have a high strategic potential. Effective against infantry and lightly armored vehicles. Can use aircraft carriers for landing.

Attack helicopters. Heavily armed helicopters designed to destroy enemy infantry and equipment. High rate of stealth and the ability to detect hidden units.

Helicopters ASW. Specialized helicopters for detecting ships and submarines, and their further destruction with torpedoes and missiles. High rate of stealth and the ability to detect hidden units.

Fighters

Fighters are the backbone of your aviation. The development of research branches opens up the possibility of using fighters for a powerful attack or support of troops.

Air superiority. Fighters are effective against enemy planes and helicopters, but weak when attacking ground units. They provide protection for ground and sea forces from air attacks, but they themselves have a low defense rate.

Maritime superiority. The main task of fighters is to provide protection for the navy from air attacks. Designed for takeoff and landing on aircraft carriers, they can carry out reconnaissance operations.

Air superiority stealth fighter. High levels of stealth, since until the fighter attacks it is completely invisible to the enemy. When entering enemy territory, there is no automatic declaration of war and are great for reconnaissance.

Strike fighter. They show themselves perfectly, being in a group of the same units. They can resist attacks, causing significant damage to armored vehicles. Suitable for supporting troops from the air when attacking.

Naval strike fighter. Designed for ground-to-air attacks, deals significant damage to the target. Fighters can take off and land on aircraft carriers, and are capable of attacking enemy fleets.

Stealth fighter. High levels of stealth, and when entering enemy territory, an automatic declaration of war does not occur. Suitable for ground-to-air attacks, deals significant damage to enemy units.

UAVs. Mostly used for reconnaissance. Improved units can do minor damage, their weapons are intended solely for defense. When entering enemy territory, there is no automatic declaration of war.

Heavy aviation

Units have high damage rates and sweep away everything in their path indiscriminately. Reckless use can lead to a decrease in morale due to the destruction of civilians in other countries.

Patrol plane. Equipped with a submarine and ship detection system, therefore, they are indispensable for reconnaissance operations. Aircraft are capable of attacking submarines with torpedoes and missiles.

AWACS. The aircraft are equipped with an early warning and control system that provides long-range radar surveillance. Equipped with powerful motion sensors, so they are able to detect hidden units.

AWACS. The aircraft are equipped with an early warning and control system to provide long-range radar surveillance in any weather. Capable of detecting distant enemy aircraft and moving units.

Bomber. Perfectly attack ground targets, including buildings and populations. Improved units can bypass the protective bonus of bunkers.

Stealth bomber. Long range, well suited for offensive purposes, but cannot engage in battles with the fleet. High levels of stealth, and when entering enemy territory, an automatic declaration of war does not occur.

Navy

Units are needed to establish dominance in sea areas. The fleet can be used to attack coastal cities and military units, transfer troops and escorts.

Corvette. This class of warships is designed to protect coastal areas and ships located there. Corvettes can damage nearby cities, destroy buildings and attack the population. When upgraded, it becomes possible to defend against air attacks.

Frigate. Medium-sized ship, effective against enemy aircraft. Can be used to detect units of any type. When upgraded, the stealth rate of the frigate increases.

Destroyer. Fast and agile ships designed to protect the fleet. Effective against ships and submarines, they can attack ground targets. When upgraded, it becomes possible to launch missiles.

Cruiser. One of the most dangerous ships, as it is well equipped. Capable of launching torpedoes and missiles. Equipped with radar and is able to identify enemy units.

Aircraft carrier. Dangerous because of its strategic importance. Designed for takeoff and landing of the corresponding aviation units. Not equipped with powerful weapons, but can defend itself.

Submarines

An excellent addition to the established fleet. Submarines have a high stealth rate and can be used for reconnaissance in the sea. Units can launch rockets and defend cities from enemy attacks.

Attackers. Designed to destroy enemy submarines and ships with cruise missiles. When the boat does not attack the enemy, the submarine’s stealth stat is increased.

Ballistic. The boats are equipped with ballistic missiles and are capable of countering enemy ships and submarines. Upgrading the submarine increases the damage characteristics.

Officers

Special units capable of providing troops with certain bonuses and an advantage over the enemy. Bonuses can be examined in the officer’s description after conducting the necessary research.

For each type of unit, a specific officer is provided. Only one officer can be included in the squad. In case of his death, re-mobilization is possible.

With each improvement, the characteristics of the unit increase, and the effect of the bonus increases. Also, officers can receive new abilities to lead different squads.

Several units of officers can be combined, as is the case with other units. In this case, the bonus indicators will accumulate and more strongly affect the squad, which is under the command of the officer.

Conflict of Nations: All Army stats

All troops available for movement and attack will be displayed on the map. By clicking on a battalion or division, you can get basic information about the troops:

Terrain types:

Current Activity indicates an action that an army unit is currently performing, such as being at the ready, moving or attacking. When you move, you get information about the province in which the unit is located, its destination, travel time and arrival time.

Additional characteristics of the squad:

Conflict of Nations: What Is Research For?

Conducting research allows you to mobilize new units and improve the already open ones. The research panel opens after clicking the Research button on the main control panel.

What research is available to you at the start of the campaign is influenced by the chosen military doctrine. In the diagram below, you can see the list of units that will be available to you at the beginning of the game, depending on the doctrine.

Research opens every day in a hierarchical order. Accordingly, you cannot research a higher level unit until all the previous ones have been opened.

Research is time consuming and resource intensive. In this case, the current research can be canceled at any time, part of the spent resources will be returned depending on the remaining time for the research.

Below is a comparative table where you can familiarize yourself with the individual characteristics of certain units of each of the existing military doctrines.

Conflict of Nations: Secrets of War

During the battles, you can achieve complete domination over the world. To be successful, you need to be prepared in military tactics and strategy. You need to study the mechanics of battles and defense, as well as the influence of various factors on the gameplay.

Key points:

Missile war. Modern countries are extremely hostile and do not hesitate to use missiles to inflict heavy damage on the enemy side. Special air, land and sea units are endowed with the ability to use warheads:

Strengthening. When you place a squad in the central point of a province, you get an additional bonus to defense; when the squad starts moving, this bonus is automatically removed. Construction of buildings increases the percentage of additional protection when basing units in the center of the province.

Healing units. Ground and air units can increase the health of units located in cities in the controlled area. To restore health, the unit must be within the province.

Basic healing for cities is +1 per day and increases depending on the level of the field hospital located in the city. Healing in the province starts at +1 per day if you have a level 1 field hospital.

Naval units restore health at a rate of +2 units per day. To start the healing process for units, units must be out of combat.

Retreat. You can command the troops to retreat to the nearest friendly territory. Only land and sea units can retreat, they receive an increase in movement speed and it becomes difficult for enemy troops to attack them.

Be sure to check the notifications and news to know what’s going on with your units.

Bunkers. These structures protect the population from the effects of weapons of mass destruction. The higher the level of the bunker, the more inhabitants will survive the enemy attack. For example, a level 1 bunker will protect 2 people, and a level 2 bunker will protect 4 people.

War crimes. If your attacks are thoughtless and cause high damage to the civilian population of other countries, be prepared for negative consequences. First of all, this is a sharp decrease in the morale of your population and its slow recovery.

Declaration of war. You can declare war through the Diplomacy section and change the world status to war with a specific player, if you wish, you can write a letter explaining the reason for your action. When you invade the territory of a country with which you have no agreements, you automatically go into a state of war.

Declaring war lowers the morale of the population and slows down resource production and troop mobilization. The more conflicts you enter, the more serious the consequences for your economy and army.

Combat mechanics

When fighting between two armies, combat rounds are calculated every hour. Next, we will consider the possible scenarios for the course of the battle, there are 4 of them.

Encounter - Army A attacks Army B in an open area, where B is located outside the center of the province. The actions of the armies will be repeated every round until victory occurs:

Attack / Defense - Army A attacks Army B in an open area, where B is located in the center of the province:

1. First combat round (instantly):

2. Second combat round (one hour later):

Passage of borders. You give the order to the troops to change location. When an enemy unit is encountered along the route, you will have to engage in combat before the troops reach their destination.

Movement of armies. You give the order to the troops to change location, at which time the other player also gives the order to move the troops. If on the way the armies are within sighting range, they will automatically join the battle.

Intelligence service

Reconnaissance is a strategically important process to achieve victory. The main components of reconnaissance are Aim and Range of Radar.

Aim determines the area within which the fog on the map dissipates and enemy territories and troops become available to your view. Aiming performance is influenced by camouflage and stealth of your units.

An overview of the territories of your provinces and provinces belonging to members of your coalition is always open for you.

Camouflage. Hides the characteristics of an army that is within sight of another player and marks it as unidentified. This function applies automatically to all units, except for the navy, which is always detected within sight.

When an enemy army enters your line of sight on a friendly territory, the characteristics of the army are automatically revealed. If the enemy army is on a neutral territory for you, then its characteristics remain closed.

You can get information about the enemy army by sending a reconnaissance squad, or by engaging in battle.

Stealth. The squad becomes completely invisible and remains unidentified when entering foreign territory. Stealth allows a unit to infiltrate enemy territory without declaring war.

You can detect a hidden unit by sending a unit with the disclosure function, or by engaging in battle.

Certain units are equipped with radar , which can detect enemy troops by reading the radar signatures that each object possesses. When an enemy unit with the appropriate signature enters the radar range, it is automatically displayed on the map.

Rebel movements

Insurgents are the result of popular discontent with your actions during the conduct of hostilities. Rebel movements pose a threat to your troops and can change the course of the entire game.

The rebels only cause revolts in cities with low morale, but if left unchecked, they can spread their influence throughout the province. The risk of an uprising appears when the morale drops to 35%, with a decrease to 25%, the appearance of the rebels is guaranteed.

As a result of the uprising, unprotected cities and provinces are captured by the rebels. If there are troops in the city, they join the battle and take measures to suppress the uprising.

If the problems with the insurgent movement are not resolved in time, then their number will increase and their power will grow. In this case, it will be much more difficult for your troops to fix the problem.

Conflict of Nations: Everything about the game world

The game offers a large selection of countries for which you can fight. Depending on the game mode, some maps have geographic features to immerse you in a post-modern environment.

For example, Yugoslavia may still exist, and the Netherlands could unite with Belgium and Luxembourg. Also, on one of the maps you will not find America, since in one of the versions in the future, the continent could be completely submerged.

Countries differ from each other in military doctrine, resources, and starting set of cities. A large country like Russia, for example, is more difficult to govern than small or island states. Some need to focus on attacking neighbors, others on border protection, and the third on the development of the fleet.

At the same time, all countries are initially equal in the possibility of winning the war. The developers have ruled out the real domination of larger and more developed countries, so the country is completely in your hands.

When choosing a country for a campaign, it is necessary to take into account what military doctrine the state adheres to. There are currently 3 doctrines available:

Each doctrine assumes different branches of unit research and their combat characteristics. Depending on the doctrine you choose, you need to adapt your playstyle and strategize accordingly.

A province is a part of a country’s territory where buildings are constructed, an army is formed, and resources are extracted. Provinces, like all objects in the game, have their own characteristics, which are determined by indicators of morale and fighting spirit of the population, resource production and terrain.

Capturing and holding provinces earns you additional victory points. In order to capture, the army must occupy the central point of the province.

Each province can contain several cities, the capture of which also brings victory points. The number of points earned depends on the population of the city.

Types of cities:

Population. Population size determines the base rate of resource production and the number of points earned when capturing a city. Population growth is influenced by morale, the availability of hospitals and the number of battles fought.

Moral spirit. This indicator greatly affects the position of the nation in the game world. Morale affects the speed of resource production, the time to mobilize units and the time to construct buildings.

Morale increases and decreases over time and from exposure to certain factors. The indicators are updated every game day, and when it decreases to 25%, an insurgency is formed.

Factors affecting morale:

Capital. The further the distance between the province and the capital, the stronger the negative impact on the morale of the population. If a capital is captured, then all provinces lose 20% of their morale.

To boost the morale of the provinces, you can designate another city that is closer to them as the new capital.

Construction. There are 6 buildings available for construction in the province, each of which benefits and performs a specific function during the war. The construction of buildings requires an investment of certain resources and time.

Keep in mind that when a building is captured by another player, it is destroyed.
BuildingDescription
OutpostStrengthens the defensive position, reduces the combat strength of the attacking army, and increases the basic morale of the population in the province.
AerodromeAllows the use of the Air Force and airmobile troops, serves as a loading and unloading point for airlift, can operate at 40% health.
Field hospitalIncreases the speed of healing of troops in the province, increases the base morale of the population in the province.
Local industryIncreases the production of resources in the province (except for human resources and money, construction is possible only in provinces where there are resources.
Logistics supportIncreases the movement speed of ground troops in the province.
PantonAllows ground troops to embark and disembark, construction is possible only in coastal provinces, can operate at 40% health.

Conflict of Nations: How to deal with other players?

Newspaper. The news feed displays all changes in events in the game, for example, a change in diplomatic status, current conflicts, losses. You can also write an article, communicate your intentions or share your opinion on the actions of a particular user.

To publish an article, go to the Submit tab, specify a title and write the main text of the article. Please note that the submitted article cannot be deleted, and it will be available for reading to all players in the campaign. The article is published immediately, indicating the time of sending.

Events. The event log allows you to keep abreast of all the actions that were taken in your absence. By clicking on the exclamation mark on the right side of the screen, you get access to information about the dead units, completing research and resolving conflicts.

Decoding of the main events:

Diplomatic status. Your relationships with other countries can significantly affect the outcome of the campaign and the achievement of victory. It’s up to you to collaborate with your neighbors, form a coalition, or keep yourself apart. The game currently offers 4 diplomatic statuses:

Be careful when allowing other units to pass through your territories. If the user places infantry on your lands and declares war, your provinces and cities will be under the threat of quick capture.

Conversation. Open the chat tab and start chatting with other players. You can conduct diplomatic negotiations and offer information exchange. The player receives an offer from you to negotiate, agrees to communicate, or rejects the application.

Be careful, other players can hack your correspondence and gain access to fragments of conversations, gaining valuable information about your plans.

Coalition

Membership in a coalition significantly changes the rules of the game and your strategy. Now the main goal is to achieve joint victory. Individual achievements do not matter, the main thing is to be the first to score the required number of points.

The maximum points for the coalition are adjusted according to the map and the number of players. The right of way is activated among the coalition members, and you get a separate channel for negotiations.

Joining a coalition. Open the list of coalitions in the Profile tab and view information about the total number of provinces, the number of members and the points scored. Select the coalition you like, open Details and click the Join button.

Leaving the coalition. It is made within 24 hours after informing all members of your decision to leave the union. If you are an inactive player, the countdown to exit the coalition will start automatically.

Coalition building. You can create your own union by opening the Profile and clicking the Create button. Come up with a name for the coalition and briefly describe it, choose a flag and wait for those wishing to join you.

Alliances

Unlike a coalition, an alliance is a long-term alliance between users that continues after the campaign ends. By joining the alliance, you can communicate with other players in a separate chat and make long-term plans, prepare for new campaigns. Also, alliance members are given access to special tests.

Joining an alliance. Open the Alliances tab in the navigation pane and click the Find Alliance button. Choose the alliance you like and apply for membership.

Until the application is accepted or rejected, you cannot send another one to another alliance. If you decide to change your mind, then the application can be withdrawn by clicking the appropriate button.

If you cannot find an active alliance, visit the official game forum. Alliance leaders are often looking for new players there.

Leaving the alliance. Open the Alliances tab on the navigation panel and go to the settings. There is a special button Leave the alliance. You instantly leave the alliance and can immediately apply for membership in another.

Creation of an alliance. Open the Alliances tab in the navigation pane and click the Create Alliance button, add all the required information and click Create. Now you are the leader of the alliance, you have the power to accept players into your alliance, appoint and dismiss them from their posts.

Alliance Challenges. Only the leader of the alliance can create and receive challenges, as well as apply for participation in events. To create a challenge, open the list of alliances, select the one you need and click the Challenge button, and then Create a game.

Alliance Challenges. Only members of the alliance with a level above 25 can take part in the tests, this is an excellent opportunity to earn experience points. To ensure a level playing field between players, premium currency is disabled during the game, victory points are fixed and do not depend on the size of the team.

Conflict of Nations: Secrets of Economic Development

To successfully complete the campaign and create a powerful army, you need to create a powerful and developed economy. The presence of the required amount of resources in the country affects the ability to construct buildings, mobilize units and conduct research.

The extraction of resources takes place in the provinces after a certain time, the receipt of resources is automatic. The mining time depends on the type of city, the morale of the population and the buildings built.

Remember that resources are also spent on the daily maintenance of units.

The maximum resource extraction rate depends on the type of city in which the production is located:

Resource types

Supply. The main resource necessary for maintaining the army, building and conducting research. At the beginning of the campaign, the supply must be properly distributed in order to further develop the country’s economy. For example, investing supplies in an airfield will not be as effective initially as building industrial facilities and outposts.

Supply is needed to mobilize most of the infantry, support and officer units. It must be remembered that this resource is also spent on the maintenance of the army, so make sure that it is in abundance.

Components. This resource is not used for research, but is necessary for the construction of buildings and mobilization of a large number of units. Components are not required only for mobile air defense, mobile artillery and missile production. Since this resource is needed to expand the army, it will quickly begin to run out.

Fuel. The resource is not used for research and is mainly used for the construction of buildings. In the future, fuel will become necessary for the production of rockets.

Electronics. A resource is required for the construction of any building. Also, electronics is consumed when mobilizing high-tech vehicles like fighters, armored transporters, submarines and others.

Rare materials. This resource is needed to mobilize powerful units, for example, to create submarines. In addition, rare materials are used for all research. Thus, if you run out of this resource, you will not be able to develop your army.

Human resources. All army units require human resources to maintain and further mobilize new units. If your tactic is to build a powerful army and fight battles, be careful not to run out of resources.

Money. This resource is used for absolutely everything. Money can buy other resources, and by selling excess resources, you can get money.

Gold. Premium game currency, for which you can buy missing resources, speed up the construction or movement of troops. The ability to raise the morale of the population for gold is of key importance.

Conflict of Nations: Campaign Tips

For a variety of battles, Conflict of Nations offers players different campaigns with different maps of the area. For each territory it is necessary to work out a new strategy, and somewhere to change the style of play.

Campaign maps are created according to certain criteria:

The ebb and flow

The campaign can be attended by 100 players. There are 8 strategic locations on the map, where vital objects for the development of the country are located, they should be your main goal.

Each area gives the owner 500 points and an indestructible building. Oil refineries located on the ground produce fuel for you, and mining enterprises - rare materials.

Complexes. A city with a radiation dome that helps the population survive in a new world of environmental disasters, nuclear and chemical attacks. The dome is automatically charged if the city is not polluted and its population is at least 4 people.

The complex gives 50 points when fully charged, protects buildings and population from unit attacks, and also speeds up the construction of buildings by 20%. The radiation dome is automatically charged within 24 hours.

The chosen ones. A detachment of rebels led by a strong leader, in the ranks of which all the refugees of the world join, fleeing natural disasters. They have excellent indicators of damage and stealth, ready to attack you at the most inopportune moment.
