Toy Defense 2: A Beginners Guide

Training in the game. Training in the game appears when installing the game for new users or after restarting the progress of the game. It is required to pass, and miss it will not work. But do not be discouraged, it will not take much time. If you want to undergo training again, you wont be able to do this without a restart. After the restart, the game will start from the beginning and you will again be asked to undergo training.

How to change the country of the army? You cannot change the automatic selection of troops in the game.Pay attention to the map of the upcoming battle. It depends on her which troops you can put on the battlefield:

The only exception is your commanders. They can take with them to battle on any card those units that they lead, regardless of the country of the unit.

Toy Defense 2: How to play the game?

Toy Defense is a tower defense strategy game. You have a Base that needs to be protected from advancing enemies. You can place your units to defend the Base only at the firing points on the battlefield. To place a detachment, click on the troops panel (all available will open) and drag the icon of the desired detachment to the firing point on the map. Arrows and Flamethrowers can occupy any firing points, while the rest of the troops only fit fortified combat positions. Commanders are put on the map in the same way as their units.

Enemies advance along the roads leading from the edge of the map to your Base. Before the start of each wave, you can see the composition of its troops and the route. You can also see the composition of the next wave.

For killed enemies, money is awarded for which you can put additional units on empty points or improve already set ones. You can always pause the game to think over the defense, or speed up the enemy wave, if you are confident in your abilities. And if something didnt go according to plan, you can always replay the mission, but without returning the supplies spent in battle.

Reflecting all the waves of attackers, you will successfully complete the mission.

Toy Defense 2: How to play in the Arena?

The Arena mode is a duel of two players, where you yourself determine the size of the bet, and the winner takes the reward. To fight in the Arena, click on the "Arena" button in the main menu:

It is very important to pay attention to the card on which the upcoming battle will be played. It depends on which troops you can put on the battlefield. In the window of the mode itself, you can select the desired bet. The size of the reward that you will receive in case of victory depends on it. Having decided on the rate, click "To battle!".

At the Arena you will find yourself on a combat map divided into two halves: On the one hand, there is your base and attack lines of your enemy, on the other, your opponents base. You can only place your troops in your own half. Stronger waves of the enemy will attack both of you simultaneously. The winner will be the one who lasts longer, while maintaining the greatest strength of the base. If after the thirtieth wave both rivals retained their bases of equal strength, the duel ends in a draw.

How to change my flag and photo in the Arena / Tournament? Depending on the OS of your device, the photo and flag are set in different ways. On Android devices :

  1. If the game is logged in to your Facebook account, the photo is taken from the Facebook page.
  2. If the login is not completed, the photo is taken from the Google Play account.
  3. As for the flag, the game sets it based on the localization of the device. Therefore, changing the language will affect the displayed flag.
  4. To set the flag you need to connect to Facebook.

On iOS devices:

  1. If the game is logged in to your Facebook account, the photo is taken from the Facebook page. In any other case, the photo will be absent.
  2. The flag is set based on the region in the device settings.
  3. The region may not match the device language.

If you play on Android and iOS devices in parallel, depending on the parameters you set, the flag you can change separately on each device.

Toy Defense 2: How to play in a tournament?

In tournament mode, you can compete with other players for one of the three prizes in the tournament table. To play, click on the "Tournament" button in the main menu:

A window of this mode will open in front of you, in which you will see the map on which the tournament is held, as well as a table with the ratings of twenty leading participants. It is very important to pay attention to the card on which the upcoming battle will be played. It depends on which troops you can put on the battlefield.

By clicking on the "Go to battle!" Button, you will be taken to the battlefield. The passage of the tournament is similar to the passage of a regular mission, only the waves of the enemy will follow one after the other endlessly. For destroyed units you will be awarded points. You can exit the tournament at any time and then continue after a while. But its worth considering that you can continue the tournament from the place where you interrupted it only if you do not begin to go through any other mission. In this case, having returned to the tournament, you will have to start from the first wave.

In the event of a loss, your score is saved in the tournament rating table, and as a reward for the game you are credited with a certain amount of stars. You can beat him with the best result. At the end of the tournament, your highest score will be taken into account. To collect the reward after the end of the tournament, you will have to go to the game mail.

After the end of the tournament (after the timer expires), the score is reset to all participants and a new tournament begins. Players whose score will be the highest after the tournament has expired will take first, second and third places, respectively, and move to the higher league (bronze league -> silver league -> gold league). The higher the league, the higher the reward for prizes.

Toy Defense 2: Special Operations

Among the missions you can find "Special Operations", in which only your commanders take part. Additional units during the battle can not be hired.

Before the start of each mission, you will be offered the recommended requirements for your troops (the desired number of commanders, their level and skills). Requirements will help determine how difficult the upcoming battle will be. Fulfillment of requirements is the key to successful completion.

When completing a mission of one or two stars, you will be awarded stars and coins as a reward, and the commanders participating in the battle will gain a certain amount of experience. In the event that no enemy passes and the strength of the base remains at the highest level, you will also receive a training point to further improve your army.

Toy Defense 2: Resources and Achievements

Achievements in the game. You can always see your progress on achievements in the game menu.

There you will find all the information about your gaming achievements and you can get rewards for them. It will also reflect progress on those achievements to which you are still on the way.

Daily reward. A daily reward is available to receive every 24 hours and does not depend on the beginning of the day or region. You can pick it up only after 24 hours (or later) after the previous one. To receive it, you need an Internet connection. You can track the time until the next award by a timer.

The triple daily reward works according to the same rules.

You can see the calendar of daily rewards in the game menu.

A box of supplies. The supply box, like the daily reward, is available for receipt every 24 hours and does not depend on the beginning of the day or region. You can open it only 24 hours after the previous one. To get it you need an Internet connection. You can track the time until the next award by a timer.

Also, an additional supply box can be opened for viewing ads every 8 hours. The timer on the advertisement button will show the time until the next available clip. If the advertisement button is gray, try changing your Internet connection or restarting the game. It may also mean that in your area at the moment there are no commercials available for viewing.

Arsenal and its use. During the battle in missions and in the tournament you have access to the arsenal panel, which you can use in battle. Also, two elements of the arsenal are available only in certain conditions. Each element has its own effect and can be extremely useful at a crucial moment.

The number under the arsenal icon indicates the number of supplies of this type you have. You can replenish your stocks at the expense of boxes with supplies, daily rewards, as well as buying for coins in the Arsenal. At the same time, if you ran out of supplies right during the battle, by clicking on the element icon you will be taken to the Arsenal for replenishment.

Also in the Arsenal you can find out the details of using the elements:

First aid. If you do not have enough time to monitor the health of the units and repair them in time, "First Aid" will be useful to you. After its activation, your units will automatically restore health during the current and next wave. With the advent of the third wave, the action will end.

Recovering a squad. It is not always possible to keep track of the health of units during a battle. If your squad has been defeated, you can return it using the "squad recovery". To do this, just click on the battle point where the detachment was broken, and then select the recovery icon.

The restored detachment returns with the same improvements that he had in this battle until the defeat, without losing experience.

Freezing If enemy units approach your Base faster than your units manage to defeat them, use "Freeze". After its activation, enemy units will move much more slowly, while the speed of your attack will not change. Freezing lasts 30 seconds, which is reflected by a green indicator around the "Freezing" icon in the Arsenal panel. Also, while the frost is active, the color of the enemy units is darkened.

Protective strike. If the enemy units have come too close to your Base, and you cannot defeat them with the forces of your deployed units, you can use the "Defensive strike". He makes one powerful explosion near the base, which will destroy all enemies in the radius of the strike. Your units will not be affected.

Artillery strike. If enemy units are approaching your Base in a dense wave, and your units do not have time to break them, "Artillery strike" can help you. After its activation, you will have 20 seconds to selectively destroy those enemy units that your troops may not be able to handle, or all in a row. Aim "bomb" selected enemies with your finger!

Urgent appointment. The units that you put on the map can be improved during the battle as much as you previously pumped their combat capabilities. However, they can be improved only sequentially, when they gain the necessary experience due to the enemies they killed in battle. If the experience is not gained quickly enough, or you would like to strengthen the power of your squad instantly - use the "Urgent Appointment".

Its activation will increase the selected squad to the maximum available level, according to the skills previously pumped by the skills of this type of squad. To do this, just click on the battle point where the detachment is installed, and then select the urgent assignment icon. If there is no destination icon, then this unit has already been upgraded to the maximum available level.

Toy Defense 2: Squads and improvements

Commanders and why are they needed?

Commanders lead troops. First of all, each commander has 10 skills for development, which strengthen the detachment controlled by the commander and give him a certain bonus. In addition, a detachment with a commander is cheaper than hiring the same new detachment during a battle.

Only commanders with assigned units may participate in missions. That is, if you hired a commander, but did not appoint a detachment for him, he will not appear in battle, and you will have to cope with the forces of hiring new detachments. All commanders are unique, although initially they have identical skills. Only you decide what each of your commanders will be strong at.

How to hire a commander and assign him a detachment? To hire a commander, go to the "Army" menu. The commander can be hired for the stars, and in case of their shortage, pay in coins.

Even the hired commander does not participate in missions without a detachment. To appoint a commander to lead a squad, select a hired commander and click on the "Assign" button.

Unlike the units hired directly on the battlefield, the commander can take with him a detachment of any country on any map. Therefore, you can choose a squad for the commander based on the most developed improvements, and not on the map on which you are currently fighting.

During the passage of the mission, your commanders and the units assigned to them will be visible in the lower left part of the screen. They can be put on the battlefield in the same way as regular squads from the lower right of the screen.

How to improve the commander? Each commander has a set of 10 skills that can be developed. To do this, in the commanders skills menu, select the skill that you want to improve and click "Explore". Above the "Explore For" button, you can see a description of the skill at this and the next level. Improving a skill costs one training point or a certain number of stars if all training points have already been spent. Commanders can get new training points, increasing their level due to the experience gained during the passage of missions.

Most skills are not immediately available for improvement. They open gradually, as the commander gains the required level. But there is an opportunity to unlock a skill without reaching a level for a certain number of coins. To do this, click on the closed skill, and then on the "unlock now for" button.

Troop Skill Enhancements

The units that you put on the map can be improved during the battle only as much as you have previously pumped their combat capabilities.

You can do this in the "Improvements" menu.

Each skill has several steps. As soon as one skill is fully studied, the detachment will open further development options. Improvements can only be done one at a time.

The arrows indicate which skill or several will become available after the complete improvement of the previous one. Please note that the skills of units of all countries are different.

Improving the squad in battle. The units in the positions gain experience due to the opponents killed by them in battle. After gaining the necessary amount of experience, the squad can be improved to the next level of skills. To improve a squad, first click on it, and then on its improvement. It will cost you a certain amount of $.

The hired units do not save the experience gained in battle for the following missions. Exceptions are units with commanders who have improved the skill "Order tone."
