Dystopia Contest of Heroes: Tips for Newbies
I accidentally spent gems, can I get them back? The game does not return gems that were accidentally spent.
What are personal loans? You can earn personal credits by completing contracts and helping Alliance members with requests for help and donating troops. You can use them in the Alliance trade to buy items unlocked by an Alliance boss or advisor.
How can I get tech points? You can purchase technology points for Alliance credits from a boss or advisor and use them to open new research in the Tech Tree.
How can I get shield points? Shield points can be purchased with Boss or Advisor alliance credits. Alliance Leaders can use them to purchase shields.
How can I unlock shields in exchange? A boss or advisor can unlock them in the Tech Tree. They can be found in the Development Branch.
What are awards? Rewards are essential to the success of the Alliance. These are tasks that Alliance members can complete in order to earn personal credits and Alliance credits. There are 4 sets of different rewards that can be unlocked in the tech tree:
- The basic reward package includes combat-related rewards.
- The Advanced Rewards Pack includes gunsmith related rewards.
- The Expert Reward Pack includes troop recruitment rewards.
- The Master Reward Pack includes rewards related to assisting Alliance members, unlocking resource packs, and using boosters.
Each pack has 3 levels of difficulty for rewards: easy, medium and hard. Before members of the Alliance can access rewards, they must be unlocked in the tech tree by a Boss or Advisor.
Players can start the Bounty for free, but after receiving the reward, a cooldown begins, depending on the difficulty of the Bounty. If a player decides to cancel a reward or completes a reward before the cooldown ends, he must wait until he can start a new reward.
When a player receives a reward, they consume one reward from the reward set, whether they have completed it or not. Bounty stocks are updated at the beginning of each new week.

Substats and recalibration tokens. All equipment starts with general subheadings. There are five sub-stage levels in total: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Exotic. There are four tiers of tokens: Normal, Rare, Epic, Legendary. The cost of recalibrating one substat is 1 gunsmith token. The player can use any token to re-calibrate substances.
Beware, the obtained Substat level depends on the token used. For example, a player has a rare substatus and decides to use a shared token - the substatus is likely to transition into a regular substatus after recalibration (there is still a chance it remains rare or becomes a higher tier, but it is rather subtle). But if an Epic token is used, it is likely that an Epic Substat will be obtained with a small chance of getting even a legendary or exotic one.
Using higher level tokens reduces the risk of a subsystem being downgraded and gives a higher chance of getting the corresponding subsystem or higher level subsystem. To get the prostates you need, use the appropriate tokens:
- Regular Substat - use Regular Token;
- Rare Substat - use Rare token;
- Epic Substat - Use Epic Token;
- Legendary or Exotic Substat - use the Legendary Token.
Avoid using lower-level tokens in higher-level subsystems as this will downgrade the existing subsystem.

These credits can be exchanged for vehicle points or shield points in the exchange of the Alliance with a Boss or Advisor. Tech points are used to unlock new research in the Tech Tree. Shield points are used to accumulate shields that Alliance members can activate for themselves. They must be unlocked in the Tech Tree.
What are Alliance Wars? Alliance Wars is a strategic combat event between two roughly equal Alliances. Alliance Wars are divided into three phases:
- Registration phase. At the registration stage, the Boss or the Alliance Advisor will be able to register his Alliance and select participants who will participate in the Alliance Wars. After the registration of the Alliance, it will not be possible to edit the players or cancel the registration. If a member leaves the Alliance in the meantime, he will still participate in the War of the Registered Alliances and will not be able to join the Alliance War with another Alliance.
- Preparatory stage. During the preparation phase, participating Alliance members can optimize their base layouts, scout their enemies, and donate squads. The donated Units will be used as defense units during the battle phase. Each member can receive units depending on the level of the Alliance’s shelter. Each player can donate up to 5 units to one participant. At the end of the preparatory phase, no new Units can be donated to the military base. These units will not appear on the player’s main base and cannot be used in multiplayer attacks.
- Battle phase. In the battle phase, each member of the Alliance has 2 attacks that must be used on any 2 different enemy bases. If multiple Alliance members attack the same enemy, only the best attack counts towards the Alliance Victory Star. The Alliance with the highest number of stars at the end of the battle day is declared the winner. If a player receives at least 1 star in a battle, he will receive a certain amount of money and energy for defeating the enemy.
What is the Alliance War Victory Bonus? The War Victory Bonus is a reward that is given to each Alliance after the end of the battle phase. The victorious Alliance receives 100% of the bonus for winning the war, and the defeated Alliance - 30%. In the event of a tie, each Alliance receives a 50% bonus for winning the war. At the end of the battle phase, players will receive bonus loot.
How can I participate in the Alliance Wars? To participate, you must join the Alliance prior to the registration stage and must be selected as a Boss or Advisor. The Alliance must have enough members to start the Alliance War.
How can I expel members of the Alliance? An Alliance member can be kicked out by the Alliance Boss, Advisor, or Commanders. This is done by clicking on the player in the appropriate tab.
