Laser Overload: A Beginner’s Guide
Laser Overload is an entertaining puzzle game from TapAnywhere. Stylish design, fascinating game mechanics at each level and different difficulty of tasks make the game attractive for both beginners and erudites.
The goal of the game is to create an energy grid to recharge the batteries. To solve the puzzle, you need to correctly turn the mirrors and use them to direct the laser beam from the power source to the battery.
An additional task is collecting stars, for them you can get coins (1 star = 5 coins). The stars are collected using laser beams, but this should not disrupt the main power grid.
When passing a level, immediately collect all the stars so as not to return. If you cannot complete the level, use the hint.
The game features 5 difficulty levels: Introductory, Beginner, Medium Player, Experienced Player, Expert. Each part of the game has its own degree of difficulty, the number of levels and the number of stars that can be collected.
The new part of the game opens only after passing all the levels of the previous part. But you can watch the ad and immediately open the next part.
The main screen contains the game level. In the upper left corner there is a "settings" icon, in the middle there is an indicator of collected stars, the level and part of the game are indicated, in the right corner the number of collected coins is shown. At the bottom are the "repeat level" icon and the "hint" icon.
The cost of the hint is 150 coins. When you buy it, a square appears around the object you want to rotate. Once the object is rotated to the desired position, the square disappears and appears over the next object, and so on until the level is completed.
To prevent advertising during the passage of the levels - turn off the Internet.
How do I earn coins?
Coins are needed to buy hints, level up the power plant, purchase new backgrounds for the game, and change the color of laser beams.
The main way to get coins is to complete levels. For each completed level, you can get from 5 to 15 coins. For completing the entire part, you can get a gift of 100 coins or more. The number of coins in the gift depends on the degree of difficulty of the passed part.
Free coins can be obtained in the store for watching a video: 1st video = 150 coins, 2nd video = 250 coins, 3rd video = 500 coins. You can also play the daily free lottery and win 50 coins or more.
Coins can be purchased in the store for real money. There you can also find out about special offers for the profitable purchase of coins.
Any purchase of coins will automatically disable ads. Don’t waste money turning it off.
Building a power plant?
A separate direction of the game is the development of a power plant from level 1 and higher. The power plant generates energy, the amount is displayed next to the blue battery icon.
The level of the power plant determines the amount of energy that it generates in 1 minute. Energy can be collected every 2 hours. When you watch an advertisement, the amount of generated energy is doubled.
To increase the level, you need to spend the earned energy and increase the power of the power plant. After three increases in power, you need to pay coins, or watch an advertisement to increase the level of the power plant.
Watching ads to increase the power plant level is more profitable than paying coins.
Laser Overload: Objects
At all levels, various objects are located, with the help of which it is necessary to solve the problem of building an energy network. The emergence of a new object is always followed by an easy training level explaining the mechanics of the innovation.
Battery - presented in the form of a battery with black outlines, when energy is supplied, it lights up with white light. The number of objects at all levels is different. To complete the level, you must charge all the batteries.
Power source - presented in the form of a glowing circle with a lightning bolt inside. The circle has one or two arrows indicating the direction of the laser beam. By rotating the power source, you aim the beam at other objects. The number of objects at all levels is different.
Mirrors - presented in the form of various shapes, reflecting laser beams to neighboring objects.
- Triangle - a mirror that reflects the laser beam in one direction. The beam must be directed to the larger base of the triangle.
- The cube is a mirror that does not reflect the laser beam. It is an obstacle when passing levels.
- The plate is a mirror that reflects the laser beam in one direction. The direction depends on which side of the plate the beam is directed to. You can direct two beams at the same time.
- A tube is a mirror that transmits a laser beam through itself. The beam must be directed towards the inside of the mirror.
Splitter - represented as a circle with lines inside. The object allows you to direct the laser beam in three or four directions. The number of objects at all levels is different.
Teleport - presented in the form of two flickering circles. When the laser beam is directed in one circle, it exits the second.
Gears - represented as a gear outline behind two or more objects. When you turn one of the objects with a gear, all the others turn.
