Pro League Soccer: Beginner’s Guide

The game is a football simulator in which you can control the players on the field during the match. This distinguishes it favorably from similar projects. Unfortunately, the game does not have a career familiar to many fans of football simulators. This is when you create a team from scratch, develop the abilities of players, renew contracts and become world champions.

The game is divided into 3 parts:

  1. Club (club) - here you can choose to play any world club and participate in the available world club leagues.
  2. National - the national teams of various countries are represented here. You can take part in any national tournament or league by choosing your favorite team.
  3. Quick match - friendly matches in the club or national league.

In each mode, you play with a team controlled by artificial intelligence (bot). It is worth noting that the members of your team that play in automatic mode and your opponents are tied to the ball, which complicates the gameplay and makes it more unpredictable and interesting.

National tournaments are divided into 5 parts of the world. Each section contains real competitions and leagues. We have reflected all available tournaments in the table below.

Name of parts of the world.Conducted tournaments.
Europa (Europe).European Nations League (European National League) and Europa Cup (European Cup).
America (America).American Nations League (American National League) and American Cup (America’s Cup).
Asia (Asia).Asian Nations League (Asian National League) and Asia Cup (Asia Cup).
Africa (Africa).African Nations League (African National League) and Africa Cup (African Cup).
World (World).World Cup (World Cup).

Nations League. The tournament system of each national league resembles the real competitions of the League of Nations. That is, all teams that decide to participate in the competition are divided into 4 groups: A, B, C and D. The division is carried out in accordance with the rating (at the time of the game update), so only the strongest teams take part in group A. Each team plays several games (depending on the size of the league). The winners in Group A advance to the final of the tournament. The winners of the remaining groups receive a promotion in the class. The teams with the fewest points receive a relegation.

playoffs. The tournament system of the Nations Cups and the World Cup is based on play-off style competitions. That is, the losing team is eliminated from the tournament. This can happen as a result of 1 game or a series of meetings between 2 participants in the tournament.

national cups. You can go into the game, select, for example, the World Cup, and you will see a huge variety of different national teams. You can choose any country (from England to Somalia). After choosing a team, you should click on the "Next" button (next), and you will see the full squad (24 players). Team line-ups are at the time of the last update. Under the name of each player you can see his role on the field:

  1. Goalkeeper - goalkeeper.
  2. Defender - defender.
  3. Forward - forward.
  4. Midfielder - midfielder.

How to get into the big leagues? When choosing a new team, you always start in the minor leagues. To open the major league, you must unlock it. When you get into league 3, you need to complete it completely in order to move to league 2. Then, after a successful series of matches, 1 league will be available to you. This rule works for every country. But you can choose a starting team from a real major league, and go through all the stages of growth with it.

Team names. The name of some clubs has been slightly changed. For example, in the English league Merseyside Red is Liverpool, London FC is Chelsea and London Red is Arsenal. Over time, you will begin to understand the commands. If you are a fan of real football, then the game symbols of the clubs will tell you their name.

club leagues. But if you choose to play for a club, then you start your promotion from the lowest league. Even if you choose the coolest team. You can click on the name of any club represented in the game and see its composition. By clicking on a player, you will see his data:

Suspension - or the state of "suspension" in football is classified as a temporary suspension for a certain number of matches. It is given for especially serious violations in the game, which are strictly prohibited. Also, a player can be disqualified for immoral behavior in life. For example, for any crime.

Injury status - the state of health of the player at the time of the upcoming match. Issued by the team doctor or the attending physician (after an injury). If a player has a green status, he can be safely released onto the field.

Preparation. In the menu before each match, you can view the basic data for the team:

After clicking the "Next" button, you get to the next section, where you can choose the color and style of the form of your team and the opposing team. It is noteworthy that you can change the color scheme of the ball at your discretion. After the manipulations, you can go to the next section.

Statistics. After reviewing the command options and selecting a form, you open the statistics. Similar data will be available to you after the match. The table below has several tabs:

  1. Status - statistics for the season.
  2. Stats - current data of your team in the season.
  3. Team - current performance in the season, and the overall assessment of the players on the field.
  4. Match - performance indicators of players on the field, match score.
  5. XP - experience gained in the season.

Experience - you get it on the field throughout the match. For the next game, the experience indicators are reset to zero. Experience points increase the stardom of your team, which, in turn, affects the morale of the opponents before the match. If you have more stars than your opponents, then they may be a little intimidated by your professionalism. Experience gain is influenced by your actions during the meeting: goals scored, violations, successful passes, and so on.

Seasons. In the statistics of the season, you will see a table in which 9 more teams are represented - these are your rivals. Depending on the selected game mode, the indicators in the table will change after the match. For example, you play in the National League for the Continental Cup. After your loss, the season will be over for you. And your next meeting, for example, in the America’s Cup, will start again from the first match.

If you have chosen to play the season in the style of the League of Nations, then you will need to meet with all the teams in the table. At the end of the season, depending on your success, you can move to the next league or stay in the current one. But if you finish in last place, you can drop down a league.

Break between halves. After the first part of the meeting (half), you go to the break page. Here you will see a detailed table that will point you to the strengths and weaknesses of the game. You can also compare your results with those of the opposing team:

  1. Possession - possession. This refers to the time of possession of the ball as a percentage of the opponent.
  2. Shots - shots on goal. The total number of hits is shown.
  3. On target - hitting the target, that is, the effective completion of a scoring chance - a goal.
  4. Passes - transfers. The total number of passes and passes of the ball.
  5. Passes completed - positive results of passes, that is, they successfully reached the selected destination.
  6. Tackles - tackles (special defense technique).
  7. Corners - corner gears. If the ball enters the goal of the kicker’s team, a corner kick is awarded. This technique is performed by a member of the opposite team.
  8. Offside - out of the game. If, being near the penalty area, the ball flew ahead of you, then this ball is considered out of play, after which a penalty is awarded.
  9. Fouls - errors (fouls). When a player makes a mistake that is not provided for by the rules of the football association, he receives a foul (yellow or red card, depending on the severity of the violation). For example, kicking the opponent’s leg.
  10. Cards - cards. The number of yellow or red cards received for violations.

On the bottom panel, you can see several tabs:

Pro League Soccer: Matchmaking Secrets

The start of each match does not start with a kick-off in the center of the field, as happens in real life. The players are already in their places and the ball is somewhere on the grass outside the center. Your task is to be the first to take possession of the ball and send it to the opponent’s goal. You can pass (which is the most effective) or you can lead the player all the way to the goal and hit it.

On the top panel of the match, you will see its current performance. On the left side of the screen, the meeting statistics are given:

  1. Abbreviation of teams - yours and your opponent. The name is shown on the side on which side of the field the teams are located.
  2. Score - next to the name is a slot in which you can see the score of the match.
  3. Time - at the start of the game, you can see the entire time of the match, then the time of the half will be shown.
  4. Extra time - periodically, on the right side of the timer, you can watch the appearance of an orange cell, it indicates the extra time that the teams have earned for the game.

There are 3 buttons in the upper right corner of the screen:

  1. Record - the button sometimes disappears, but appears at the moment when the system starts recording a dangerous or interesting moment of the game. You can view it during the match (the time of the half stops) or after the meeting.
  2. XP - the amount of experience gained.
  3. Pause - at any time you can stop the game by pausing the match.

Controls. The joystick is located at the bottom of the screen on the left side. It is necessary to control the player you have chosen on the field. On the right side you will see several buttons that will change depending on the situation on the field. At the start of the game, and until you have selected a player, you will see the following set on the screen:

When a player is selected the buttons on the right stick will change, similar buttons appear during penalties, free kicks or corner throws:

Basic actions on the field

moving

The name of the action.Explanation.Execution buttons.
Move the selected player.Press PASS + select direction with joystick. The change of direction is also done by the joystick.
Jerk. The acceleration of the player in the chosen direction.Press SPRINT SKILLS and pull up, choosing a trajectory with the joystick.
Feint.Deceptive movement of a football player while dribbling. It is especially important to use it correctly when in contact with the enemy.Press SPRINT SKILLS and drag to the sides (left or right). With the joystick you control the execution of the feint.
Dribbling.Long dribbling by one player, who during the action performs dribbles of opponents and various tricks. The usual conduct of a football player, with the use of tricks in dangerous moments.
Dribbling in the snatch. The initial speed of the dash is determined by the parameters of the player you control.Just control a football player, speeding him up at the right moment by clicking on SPRINT SKILLS and pulling up.

Passing or passing the ball

The name of the action.Explanation.Execution buttons.
Pass down.Passing the ball in a directed trajectory across the field.Turn in the right direction. Click and hold the PASS button for a few seconds.
Pass during the dash.Passing while the player is moving. You can pass the ball just received when running to the opponent’s goal. Addresses will continue to run with the ball until he crosses the offside line or until he loses the ball. While moving, click on the PASS button and drag it up, at the same time tap on SPRINT SKILLS and pull the button up.
Top transmission.Reception allows you to pass the ball to the opposite flank or quickly throw it forward. The duration of the hold affects the distance the ball travels.Click and hold the PASS button by swiping it up.
Underhand pass. This pass is performed to an open place, allowing your player to "run" on him, maintaining his running speed. The duration of the hold affects the range of the pass.Click and hold the THROUGH button.
Overhead pass. This transfer is performed mainly on your defenders in an open place under the "running" of the addressee under the ball. Also, the maneuver is effective in the attacking zone, so as not to go beyond the offside line, and send the ball to a convenient point in front of the opponent’s goal.Click and hold THROUGH for a few seconds while pulling up the PASS button.
Canopy. It is performed to the right or left of the penalty area to pass the ball "under the head" to a partner who is in the penalty area.Click and hold the PASS button by swiping it up.

Passing the ball from the bottom is the easiest action for a pass. The longer you hold your finger on the button, the further the ball will roll. Thus, you can give the ball to an ally who is located on the other side of the field. By performing this pass, you can independently adjust the range of the ball:

  1. Quick click - transfer to the nearest member of your team in the specified direction.
  2. Average holding of the button - the pass is given to the player who stands at an average distance from the controlled player. If you pass the ball to the defender, then he, during the flight, will ignore the midfielders, and go straight to the forward.
  3. Holding the button for a long time - a remote ally is selected as the receiving party. The longer you keep your finger on PASS, the farther you can send the ball.

The offside line is a visualized line that runs parallel to the goal line through the position of the opposing defender closest to the goal. If you, while dribbling the ball, crossed this line with him, and did not have time to pass to your partner, then you will receive an offside position. This will be followed by a free throw by the opposing team. You need to pass back if your player is not behind the offside line.

The penalty line (zone, square) is a rectangle in front of the goal. From it, the goalkeeper or another player throws the ball onto the field (goal kick). In this area, the goalkeeper can play with his hands. If any team commits a violation in their own penalty area, they will be penalized by a penalty kick (a penalty kick is taken on goal)

blows

The name of the action.Explanation.Execution buttons.
Kick, volley, headbutt.A simple but most powerful kick in football. Holding the button will help you increase the power of your shot and the height of the ball’s flight path.Click and hold SHOT for a few seconds.
"Parachute".The kick is taken directly in front of the opponent’s goal to throw the ball over the goalkeeper’s head. The action will help increase the arc in which you send the ball into the goal.Click while holding SHOT to pull up.
Fake hit. With this technique, you force the defender of the opposing team to make an unnecessary maneuver, thereby confusing him.Click on SHOT, but at this point take the player back a little.

Defense techniques

The name of the action.Explanation.Execution buttons.
Pressure protection. The football player you control will go into a defensive state, perform a dash with the opponent and try to take the ball away.Hold the SPRINT SKILLS button while close to the enemy, and set the direction with the joystick.
Containment. The technique is called "tactical defense". The football player you control will accompany the opponent with the ball, but will not make maneuvers to take the ball away until you give the command. It is done with a joystick. Your task is to block the path of the player of the opposite team.
Picking up the ball with your hand.By following the above 2 tricks, you can perform this action. it is more efficient than automatic acceleration. The selection of the ball will depend on the characteristics of the player. When the player you control will stand between the opponent’s forward and your goal, you should click on SPRINT SKILLS.
TackleReception is risky, but bring a lot of benefits at a difficult moment. Performed only by the defender. It is necessary to block the opponent with the ball and maximize the overlap of the maneuver.Click and hold THROUGH.

Tactical defense (deterrence) - a player pursues an opponent with the ball without making an attempt to take it away. This action makes it possible to restrain the opponent’s maneuvers, and forces him to move in the direction you need. If there is a need to catch up with an opponent, then your player will perform a jerk automatically. You don’t even have to click on SPRINT SKILLS.

Use slides carefully! If you hit the opponent’s legs, you will receive a yellow or red card.

Standard provisions

Set pieces are putting the ball into play after being stopped or fouled. These include: penalties, corners and other moments of a football meeting. The game differs from similar projects in that it has optimized controls for many situations on the battlefield. For example, you can control the goalkeeper at the moment when a free kick is taken on goal. Therefore, knowing the mechanics of set pieces will help you improve your game in general.

Free kick near the goal - your team gets the opportunity to take an additional (free kick) on the opposing team’s goal if the opponent has committed a violation in your penalty area. You need to choose a point where your player will aim. During the strike, you need to simultaneously hold the SHOT button up and SPRINT SKILLS. Then the maneuver will be more powerful, and the ball will fly higher.

Far free kick - this type of punishment is assigned to a team if it committed a violation on the opponent’s side of the field or in the central zone. To execute a kick, you need to select a member of your team to whom you will pass. You can also perform the maneuver like this: click PASS (holding will increase the range of the ball) and adjust the direction with the joystick.

Penalty (penalty kick) - a kick is made on the goal, which is protected only by the goalkeeper from a distance of 11 meters from the goal line. A penalty kick is given as a penalty to the team that has committed an infraction within the opponent’s penalty area. A kick may also be awarded if a player commits an offense while the ball is in play. A penalty shoot-out is appointed in a series of games in the Play-off format, if during the meeting the winner was not determined (the same score or no score).

When taking a penalty, you can use the kicks that we wrote about above. Remember that the power of impact depends on holding the button. If you are assigned a penalty, then you can control the goalkeeper to prevent the ball from entering the goal. You can move the player with the joystick, as well as close the gate by clicking on the desired place on the screen. At this moment, the player will make a dash to the indicated place.

Goal kicks - are taken after free kicks and after a goal has been scored. If your goalkeeper caught the ball that flew into his goal, then this type of kick is also made. You should click on your player or an empty spot on the field to pass the ball. Throw-in or Corner kicks are done in the same way. They are performed after the ball has flown out of bounds.

Pro League Soccer: Team Guide

You can manage the selected team in the section before the meeting. And you can see the characteristics of the players or make a replacement in the TACTICS menu. This menu can be accessed from the sidebar that appears in the pre-match or half-time sections.

Distribution of players on the field. In the center of the section there is a scheme of the football field and the location of the players on it. Here you can change the formation scheme (choose tactics) of the players on the field if you do not like the default formation, or it did not perform well in the current match (you can change the position of the players during the break). To do this, click on the TACTICA button (at the bottom of the central block of the section).

Composition replacement. The TACTICS section on the right side of the screen contains players who are on defense (by default). The rest of the players are placed in the central block, according to the tactics scheme. You can change players. To do this, click on the desired player on the right, and, holding your finger, drag him to the position you are interested in on the field. This action can be performed before a match or at halftime.

The roles of the players. As we wrote above, all team members have their roles on the football field. Thanks to them, the players are placed. The role is an important parameter of a football player, with the help of which you can correctly place the team on the field. Some actions of football players in automatic mode or in control mode depend on the role. For example, an attacker will not be able to make a "marking with pressure" maneuver, and a defender will not be able to "cross".

Goalkeeper - goalkeeper. There are 2 goalkeepers in the team: 1 - on the field, 2 - on the substitution. If you put a player in a different role in the goal, he will not be able to perform the actions of the goalkeeper, will not be able to automatically protect the goal, play with his hands in his own penalty area, or make other maneuvers. This should be taken into account when replacing the composition. If during the game, you do not choose to control the goalkeeper, then he will, as he is prescribed, protect his goal or take goal kicks.

Defender - defender. These players have the skills to defend their penalty area and their goal, so in the tactical scheme they are assigned a place in their half of the field closer to the goal. They have a number of actions that only players with this role can perform. All defensive maneuvers described above can only be performed with defenders. It should be noted that if you have not chosen to control a football player - a defender, then he will automatically, when the ball passes to your side of the field, "patronize" the opponents, or perform actions to select the ball.

Marking the opponent is a defensive tactic when a player pursues midfielders or forwards of the opposing team, which is expressed in very close presence of the defender to the opponent. So, for example, you can patronize attackers who are waiting for the ball to be passed. If the ball is sent to a "free" place, then the defenders will automatically accelerate and go to intercept it. If a pass is made to a player being guarded, then the defender performs a maneuver to intercept him.

Forward - forward. It has a number of unique maneuvers for attacking and hitting the opponent’s goal. Players of this role are placed in tactics on the field on the side of the opponent. The main task of the striker is to create scoring chances and bring them to completion. In order to receive the ball and start an attack on the opponent’s goal, he must find the optimal positions for this. If you don’t control the attackers, they will automatically accept the pass from an ally and advance towards the net. Sometimes forwards are called strikers (striker - hitter).

Midfielder - midfielder. Players of this role should be located closer to the center line of the field. They do not have the unique skills of attackers and defenders, but they are excellent at orienting themselves, they can take the ball from an opponent and pass it to an open member of their team. Basically, these players do not require individual control on your part. If they intercept or receive the ball, they try to pass it to the nearest ally.

The main advantage of the game is that football players in bot mode (controlled by artificial intelligence) are well able to navigate the field, feel the ball perfectly, work more in passing. During the meeting, you can designate the main players for individual management, and the rest of the players will automatically adjust to your style of play. You can watch replays of dangerous moments to more accurately determine the "interest" of the composition in obtaining a victory.

Characteristics of football players

It is worth noting that in Pro League Soccer there is no individual pumping of each character. But you can pump the entire team, increasing its star rating. To do this, you just need to play more for the club you are interested in. Star rating you can see during team selection. Note that if you raise stars in one mode, they automatically increase in another mode.

In the TACTICS menu, you can see in detail all the parameters of your players. To do this, you need to select any player. A section will appear in the upper left part of the window, in which the characteristics are described in detail:

Morale (morale) - affects the "interest" of the player. The higher the indicator, the more active it will behave during the match. Pay attention to it during the break, it can decrease due to some factors (fatigue, professionalism of opponents, mistakes). If this happens, replace the player.

Condition (state) - this is the health status of your players, also indicates their endurance. The higher the score, the more aggressive the character will act. As well as morale, a player’s condition may decrease in the first half of a match due to fatigue, injury, reduced morale.

All characteristics are summarized in a general indicator, which is located in the upper right corner of the profile and avatar of each player. It also includes the individual skills of the players. For example, an increased chance of scoring with a header, or an increased marking with pressure (and so on). Unfortunately, they are not listed anywhere in the game.

Pro League Soccer: Secrets of tactical schemes

Before each match, the placement of players on the field is indicated by tactical schemes. You can see and change your team’s tactics in the TACTICS menu. You can also see the diagram of the opposing team. This is very important, as you can analyze the strengths and weaknesses, and, if necessary, change your meeting strategy.

Learn tactical schemes of the game! Knowledge of tactical schemes will help you navigate the game more flexibly, predict the opponent’s actions, and put players on the field with higher performance.

The game has several schemes for placing players on the field. All tactics are taken from classic football, and are chosen competently enough for a comfortable game. Each tactical setup has its pros and cons. Also under these schemes, you can pick up opposing tactics that can withstand the forces of the enemy.

Scheme 4-1-4-1

This is a classic defensive tactic of the game, mostly aimed at protecting your own goal. Suitable for beginners who want to get comfortable in the simulator. In tactics, the emphasis is on the presence of 5 defenders (the arrangement is carried out from their own goal):

If you notice that there is no goalkeeper position in the schemes, as it does not require clarification. The goalkeeper invariably remains in his place, and it makes no sense to put him somewhere. In the tactics described below, we also omitted the position of the gate guard.

A defensive defender (opornik) is a midfielder who stands in the center between the lines of defense or the line of defense and attack. It is the connecting component of defense and attack. He has a very important role, as he can quickly switch from defense to attack and vice versa. When choosing a defensive midfielder, pay attention to the indicators of speed, attack and defense.

Arrangement pluses:

  1. High concentration of players in the center of the field.
  2. Lots of attack options.
  3. The area of protection is completely closed (reception of "deaf defense").

Disadvantages of placement:

  1. Not suitable for attack (in most cases).
  2. A lone striker can be cut off from the rest of the squad.

Tactics against 4-1-4-1:

If you have more players on your team with a high defensive stat (even attackers), then it is best to choose a defensive tactic. If the players have higher attack indicators, then choose a scheme that favors attacks.

Scheme 3-2-2-3

A rare attacking scheme that is practically never used in real football. But it is quite effective due to its arrangement. Although the field has the same amount of defense and attack, but the tactics are designed to play at the opponent’s goal.

Position of players:

Arrangement pluses:

  1. Works well against many defensive formations, forcing a tough game.
  2. Your footballers can surprise members of the opposing team.
  3. Some players can easily move to other positions in attack (except 3 defenders).

Disadvantages of placement:

  1. Poorly proven itself in defense (open edges of the field).
  2. Difficult to rebuild when defending.

Tactics against 3-2-2-3:

Scheme 4-2-3-1

The scheme is good for defense and offense. Such harmony is obtained due to the uniform placement of the players. This tactic can be used by beginners and experienced gamers. The positions are clear enough to understand:

Ten is an attacking player who works a little further from the goal and closer to the center line of the field. Must have good passing skills, starts goalscoring chances in depth. When choosing a scheme with a ten, you will need to manage it.

Winger is a midfielder who is located closer to the edge of the field. Takes charge of the attack. His main mission is to move quickly around the edge, and pass a good pass to the forward.

Arrangement pluses:

  1. Maneuverability of construction, variability of displacement of football players across the field.
  2. Can work against defensive or offensive tactics.
  3. The attacker will not be alone, as there are 3 team members behind him who will come to the rescue at any moment.

Minus the arrangement - the game, to a greater extent, is oriented in attack, although it showed excellent defense. Therefore, the main part of the load falls on the shoulders of 3 midfielders and a forward at the opponent’s goal. You will have to quickly switch between them.

Tactics against 4-2-3-1:

Scheme 4-3-3

Based on how many of the world’s best teams use this formation, we can conclude that this is the best tactic for attacking. Footballers constantly change roles among themselves, which can disorient the opponent. A powerful attack is carried out thanks to the arrangement of players:

Ball control - when choosing defenders, pay attention to the ball passing rate. This is essential for a good game. Midfielders stand in the center, due to this they can go on the defensive, moving towards their goal, or attack. Attacking wingers stand almost on the edges, due to this they can intercept the ball from the opponent, or initiate an attack. Forwards can also move to the center, or the three of them work in the opponent’s penalty area, covered by wingers.

Pressing - the main point in this scheme is the constant pressure of opponents. If your attackers lose the ball, then the team automatically goes into a tough defense, trying to get to the interception. In fact, the players, defending themselves, attack.

Arrangement pluses:

  1. Thanks to 3 forwards, the opposing team cannot realize their potential in attack.
  2. Good work in the central zone of the field.
  3. The constant impact of the ball.
  4. Flexible change of positions of players without slowing down the pace of the game.

Disadvantages of placement:

  1. There is a high probability of passing the ball in your own penalty area due to the large area of u200bu200bdefence.
  2. It is necessary to have a team with a high number of stars.

Tactics against 4-3-3:

  1. 4-1-4-1.
  2. 4-2-3-1.
  3. 4-4-2.

Scheme 4-1-3-2

The strategy aims to strengthen the central area of the field. Thanks to her, the team can quickly move to the attack. At the same time, reliable protection remains in its part of the field. Despite the 3 players who play in the opponent’s half, this tactic is more defensive. In real football, such a scheme is called a "herringbone".

Position of players:

Arrangement pluses:

  1. Good blocking of the central zone.
  2. She showed herself well in pressing the enemy.
  3. Reliable defense against any attacking strategy of the opponent.

Disadvantages of placement:

  1. No range when attacking.
  2. Few options for changing positions.

Tactics against 4-1-3-2:

Scheme 4-4-2

The classic game scheme used by various clubs. This is a defensive strategy. But it has a good attacking potential. In this tactic, it must be taken into account that all players are responsible for their area, which is guarded. The symmetry of the construction makes it possible to control both flanks and the center without losing quality.

Position of players:

Arrangement pluses:

  1. She showed herself well in the distribution of areas of responsibility of the players, dividing the entire field between them.
  2. Balance in defense and attack.
  3. Pass work.
  4. Convenient scheme for pressing.

Disadvantages of placement:

  1. There is not enough variability in changing positions.
  2. There are no maneuvers for the redistribution of players.

Tactics against 4-4-2:

Pro League Soccer: Game Setup Tips

When you select a game mode, you will be taken to the team selection section. Here you have an additional menu on the left side of the screen. It will be present in the match preparation sections, at half-time and after the end of the match. Some beginners don’t pay much attention to it. But in vain! Since the sections on the panel contain a lot of interesting things that can be useful in the game:

  1. Home (home) - by clicking on the button, you refer to the mode selection.
  2. Database (database) - here is a complete database of clubs that are in the game. In the right column of the section, you can select any league. After that, a list of all commands is displayed in the left column. You can choose any and see all the information about it.
  3. Settings (settings) - here you can configure the conduct of matches, select the graphics of the game, adjust the sound.
  4. Tactics - team management and strategy selection (we talked about it).

Meeting settings. Since everything is clear with the rest of the sections at a glance, you should dwell on the settings separately. In this menu, you can not only adjust the graphics and camera position, but also change important moments in the match. In the table below, we have displayed sections 1 of the settings tab.

The name of the setting.Description.

Control ModeThere are 3 modes: Manual (individual player control), Manual & Touch (control + touch) and Automatic & Touch (automatic + touch).

View ModeYou can leave a checkmark if you want to replay a poignant moment right after it ends.
Control (control panel).A separate tab where you can customize the control buttons for yourself, as you like.

Manual & Touch. If you have enabled any mode with Touch, then during the game, you can select any location on the field, and the bot player (since you practically do not control them in this mode, and everything is automated) will choose how to deliver the ball to this place. For example, he can pass to a member of his team or dribble himself to a specified point. If you tap the screen 2 times, then the selected player will make a tackle.

Automatic & Touch. You move the players and you can choose where to pass the ball. If you play from a phone, then with such controls it is easier, especially for beginners. But if you have previously played similar projects, you can choose a different control setting for yourself.

For a complete immersion in the process, we recommend choosing Manual. But in this mode, you need to control the player and run around the field. On Manual & Touch, the gameplay is easier. But if you connect a gamepad (and the game has such an opportunity), then you will feel a completely different feeling.

How to change the team name and symbol?

Write in the search bar of your browser "Command symbol" and its name. From the results that appear, you need to select the "Pictures" section. In it, select any image you like, and click on it to bring up the context menu. In it, check the line "Copy image URL".

Now you need to open the Database section in the game. In it you should find the command whose symbol and name you want to change. By clicking on the "Edit" button instead of the name of the club, an active line will appear in which you can enter your name. The c button will allow you to enter the copied URL into the active line that appears. After these manipulations, you will receive the original name of your club and symbol.

Form. Similarly, you can change the shape of the team in "Edit Teams". To do this, enter "Sketches of the form of football teams" in the search engine. And choose the picture you like by copying its URL.
