Paranormal Activity 5: General Tips

An archaeological expedition to the site of the ancient burials of the Mayan tribe has borne fruit. Scientists are ready to make a historic discovery, but for inexplicable reasons, the group members began to lose their memory. A paranormal specialist, Detective Rick Rogers, is brought in to investigate.

He will have to study the materials of the expedition, as well as collect evidence that should shed light on strange events. To do this, you need to get into the Archaeological Center, and then into the gallery. In this case, only non-standard methods of investigation, which Rick is famous for, will help. To understand what happened to the archaeologists, the detective needs to complete tasks: look for useful items, solve mini-games and puzzles.

This walkthrough will not mention the need to zoom in each time. The screenshots show an already enlarged image. Hidden object scenes will use the acronym "Search" throughout the playthrough. Items marked with a different color are hidden or require additional steps to find them. This walkthrough will show you a step-by-step solution to mini-games that have a single solution. For other mini-games, read the instructions carefully. Use the map to quickly move to the desired location.

Paranormal Activity 5: Chapter 1 Arthur’s Office

Examine the door lock panel on the left (A). Take MONOGRAM A, BAG, COPY BOWL, and SCISSORS (B). Use the SCISSORS on the threads; take MONOGRAM N and PEN (C). Place the HANDLE on the toolbox; take WRENCH and CABLE DETECTOR (D).

Use the WRENCH on the pipeline valve (E); place the COPY OF THE BOWL under the jet of water (F) to get the BOWL OF WATER. Combine the BAG, MONOGRAM A, and MONOGRAM N in Inventory; read the information in the diary and take the ACCESS CARD. Use the CABLE DETECTOR on the door lock (G), follow the path of the cable (H) and select the device in the pit; use the ACCESS CARD on the device remote (I) to activate a mini-game.

Do the steps in the following sequence: Jx2-K-Lx2-M. Use the BOWL WITH WATER on the door panel (N). Walk left (O).

Take BONE RUNE and ANCIENT TILES 1/3-2/3 (R). Zoom into the sand pile; take the CANE (S). Open the cabinet door; take the FOLDER (T). Walk back. Use the CANE on the pipeline (U); take AMBER RUNE and MAYAN MASK (V). Return to Arthur’s Study.

Use the AWL on the shutters on the left (P) to get the RED BUTTON. Use the JACK on the shutters; take CHAIN ??and IGNITION KEY (Q). Use the AWL on the lock of the back door of the van; take the AFRICAN MASK (R). Return to Arthur’s Study.

Place the MAYAN MASK and AFRICAN MASK on the chest in the box; take the METRO MAP (S). Return to the Gallery Entrance. Combine the CHAIN ??and CARABINES; take CHAIN ??WITH CARABINES. Place the ANCIENT CROWN and MEDALLION on the sculpture on the left (A); take ANTI-RUST and SCARAB MEDALLION (B). Use the ANTI-RUST and METAL BRUSH on the electrical cabinet; take the CAR AMULET and METRO TOKEN (C). Return to the Alley.

Place the CAR AMULET on the crate in the RV; take the FUEL (D). Return to the Old Metro.

Use the METRO TOKEN on the turnstile (E); take the Magnifier and the SCRAPER (F). Use the SCRAPER on the semaphore; take the LIGHT BULB (G). Place the LIGHT BULB in the subway car holder (H); use the FUEL on the train control panel (I). Return to the Car Park.

Use the Magnifier on the note on the sign (J) to get the SERIAL NUMBER. Return to the Old Metro. Use the SERIAL NUMBER on the boxes in the booth (K): select the correct box (L) and take the ENGINE PART (M). Place the ENGINE PART on the train control panel (N).

Take FINGER 1/2, MATCHES, and EYE OF HORUS (V). Return to the Alley.

Do the steps in the following sequence: (B-3-C)-(2-3)-(A-1-2)-(C-1)-(B-3-C)-(2-3)-(A -1-2)-(A-C-1). Take the FOOTBALL PLAYER FIGURINE (2). Return to the Security Room.

Place the FOOTBALL PLAYER FIGURINE on the table football; select the correct figurine (D) and take the NOTEBOOK and DISC (E). Place the DISC in the computer’s drive (F); select monitor (G) and take CLUE 2/3 (H). Turn off the three cameras (I). Walk left (J).

Combine the NECKLACE and FANGS 3/3 in Inventory; take NECKLACE OF STRENGTH. Use the NECKLACE OF STRENGTH on the Sandman (K). Play the HOP (L) to get the ANCIENT PLAQUE. Give the NOTEBOOK to Rachel (M); take CLUE 3/3 and HANDKERCHIEF (N).

Paranormal Activity 5: Chapter 2 The Party

Pick red and yellow elements before they reach Rick; Mini-game solution randomly (A). Take the booklet (B).

Play the HOP (C) to receive the INVITATION. Show the INVITATION to the guard (D).

Take the SECRET BOX and WOOD AMULET (E). Examine the bar; take the WINE GLASS (F). Examine the sheet of paper; take the BACKSTAGE PASS (G).

Place the WOOD AMULET on the clasp of the bag; read the note and take the ELEMENTAL STATUETTE 1/4 and the FLASH DRIVE (H). Use the BACKSTAGE PASS (I) and FLASH DRIVE (J) on the presentation control panel. Play the HOP (K). Walk right (L).

Talk to Gabriel; take the FORTUNE CARD (M). Take BAR AND KEY and GLOW STICK (N). Walk back. Use the BAR KEY; take the SPATULA and POWDER CAKE (O). Return to the VIP Lounge.

Use the SPATULA and DIRECTIONAL CARD on the divination machine (P). Select machine gun lever (Q); take the LUCK CARD (R). Talk to Gabriel; take the joystick (S) to activate a mini-game.

Place the SHARK EYE, SHARK TAIL, and SHARK FIN on the shark’s body (F); take PLANE PART 2/4 and FRAMED DRAGONFLY (G). Return to the VIP Lounge. Place the FRAMED BUTTERFLY and FRAMED DRAGONFLY on the stand (H); take the FINE HANDLE and PLANE DRAWING (I). Walk back.

Take RING, COLORED LIGHT 1/3, PENDULUM, and SMALL BALL (C). Walk back.

Use the RING on the glass case latch; take the FREEZING SPRAY and SOLVENT (D). Walk forward (E). Use the SOLVENT on the painting on the easel (F) to get an IMPORTANT DATE. Combine the PENDULUM, SMALL BALL and SMALL CUBE; take COLORED BULB 3/3. Use the COLORED LIGHTS 3/3 on the tree to activate a mini-game; see screenshot for solution (M). Select pot on left (K); do the steps in the following sequence: 6-4-2-8-1-3-9-7-5. Select vase (I). Select Ingredients (ABCD). Place the ingredients (H-F-E) in the pot on the right (J). Select pot on left (K); place the amulet (L) in the pot on the right (J). Take the LOADED GUARDIAN AMULET (J1). Walk back.

Place the LOADED GUARDIAN AMULET and statue in the center (M); place the CHARGED WARRIOR AMULET on the statue on the right (N). Walk forward (O). Talk to the Guardian (P); check out the location.

Familiarize yourself with the rules of the game (Q). Collect one card of each type to take the Orb card from your opponent; match four identical cards (R) to get the Orb card (S). Collect three Orb cards to win the mini-game; solve the mini-game randomly (T).

Paranormal Activity 5: Bonus Chapter

Familiarize yourself with the documents in folder (A). Look at the photo (B). Select the laptop display (C) and read the email.

Take the TRIBAL NECKLACE, OIL, and RACHEL’S BRIEFCASE (D). Combine RACHEL’S BRIEFCASE and OIL in Inventory; look at the documents and take the ARMREST KEY and TRAVELER EMBLEM 1/3. Place the RECORD, GRAMOPHONE PICKUP, and GRAMOPHONE CRANK on the gramophone; use the SCREWDRIVER on the gramophone pickup (Z1) to activate a mini-game. Do the steps in the following sequence: Ax4-Bx2. Take the TUNING FORK and ARTHUR’S RECORDS (C).

Examine ARTHUR’S RECORDS in Inventory; take ARTIFACT RECORDS. Place the ARTIFACT RECORDS on the table; take LIST OF CHEMICALS and IMPORTANT ARTIFACTS (E). Walk right (F).

Use the TUNING FORK and LIST OF CHEMICALS on the cabinet with chemicals and select the correct chemicals (G) to get the SCANNER SETTINGS; take the SET OF CHEMICALS (H).

Use the GLOVES and SET OF CHEMICALS on the fume hood; select three chemicals and take the CHEMICAL MIXTURE (I). Use the CHEMICAL MIXTURE, IMPORTANT ARTIFACTS, and SCANNER SETTINGS on the scanner; set the left switch to 4 (J), the right switch to 1 (K).

Talk to the characters to activate the SEARCH. Take the BAS-RELIEF PIECE, RING, and GUARDIAN STATUETTE (M). Use the RING on the stone block; take the WAR STATUETTE (N). Place the MAGIC STATUETTE, STATUETTE.

WAR and GUARDIAN FIGURINE on the altar (O); take STONE SPHERE and BAS-RELIEF PIECE (P). Place the two BAS-RELIEF PIECES on the right-hand bas-relief and take the TRAP CLUE (Q); examine the passage on the left. Place the STONE SPHERE and TRAP CLUE on the slabs on the left path (R); examine the passage on the left for a mini-game.

Do the steps in sequence 1-16. Take the ALL-SEEING EYE (S).

Use the ALL-SEEING EYE on the tree (T); take the MAGICAL SAND (U). Examine the map (V); use the MAGICAL SAND on the map (W).

Take ANCIENT PIN, OLD SACKET, EARTH RUNE, and BELL 1/5 (W). Combine the OLD SATCHEL and ANCIENT PIN in Inventory; take AIR RUNE and BELL 2/5. Place EARTH RUNE and AIR.

RUNE on obelisks; take the LEVITATION STONE (X). Use the LEVITATION STONE on the floating rocks (Y); walk forward to activate a mini-game.

Solution for the first stage: A-C-B. Solution for the second stage: E-IG. Solution for the third stage: KOMJN.

Take BELL 3/5, BRANCH, CHESS PIECE, and POWER SYMBOL (P). Walk back.

Place the CHESS PIECE on the chessboard; take the CHISEL and BEAST SKULL (Q). Walk forward (R). Place the BEAST SKULL on the altar (S); take BELL 4/5 and WOODEN LAKE (T). Walk back.

Use the WOODEN BUCKET on the sand (U) to get the BUCKET WITH SAND and SANDPAPER. Combine the BRANCH, SANDPAPER and CHISEL in Inventory; take the WOODEN HANDLE. Use the WOODEN HANDLE on the ax blade (V) to get the AX. Walk forward (W).

Use the AX on the down tree (@) to activate a mini-game; do the steps in the following sequence: A-BCD. Take the BRANCHES (E).

Use the AX on the vines; take BEAST HORN and VINES (F). Use the BRANCHES, VINES, and BUCKET WITH SAND on the pit (G). Play the HOP (H) to receive BELL 5/5. Walk back.

Place the BELLS 5/5 on the large stone on the right (I). Walk right (J).

Take BEAST EYE, BROKEN SOUL VIAL, and BEAST TUNG (K). Use the POWER SYMBOL on the skeleton’s bag; read the diary (L) and take the KEY PIECE 1/3 (L1). Return to the Plateau.

Place the BEAST TUSK, BEAST HORN, and BEAST EYE on the altar skull; take ROPE LADDER, ANCIENT BOOK and STONE SPIDER (M). Place the STONE SPIDER on the rock web on the right; take KEY PIECE 2/3 and METAL FEATHER (N). Return to the Cave.

Place the ROPE LADDER on the wall on the left; take the WOODEN DISC (P). Place the WOODEN DISC on the wall panel on the left for a mini-game; work in sequence 1-4 and take BROKEN STONE PAW and KEY PIECE 3/3. Use the PARTS OF THE KEY 3/3 on the lock of the pedestal; take SOUL EMBLEM and METAL LIGHTNING (Q). Walk back.

Combine the METAL FEATHER and METAL LIGHTNING in Inventory; read the information in the book and take the UNUSUAL LOCK PICK. Use the UNUSUAL LOCKPICK on the lock of the chest; take the OLD MIRROR and WATER DRAGON FIGURINE (R). Use the OLD MIRROR on the obelisk (S); take GLASS CORK and STONE HEART (T). Walk right (U).

Place the STONE HEART on the stone lion (V); take the FIRE DRAGON STATUETTE (V1). Place the WATER DRAGON STATUETTE and FIRE DRAGON STATUETTE on the pedestal (W); play the HOP to receive the ICE SPELL. Use the ICE SPELL on the magic fire; take STONE SHARD 1/2 and SPEAR (X). Use the SPEAR on the obelisk (Y); take the SNAKE HEAD and POTION VIAL (Z). Return to the Plateau.

Use the POTION VIAL on the altar; take the FIRE SPELL, ANCIENT GOBLET, and STONE SHARD 2/2 (A). Use the ANCIENT GOBLET on the tree (B) to get the GOBLET WITH RESIN. Return to the Cave.

Combine the BROKEN STONE CLAW, GOBLET OF RESIN, STONE PARTS 2/2 and FIRE SPELL in Inventory; take STONE PAW. Place the SNAKE HEAD and STONE CLAW on the stone lion; take the STAFF OF TRUTH (C). Use the STAFF OF TRUTH on the mirror on the left; find the differences between the reflections and take the GLOWING CRYSTAL (D). Place the GLOWING CRYSTAL on the obelisk; take the SOUL STONE (E). Combine the BROKEN SOUL VIAL, SOUL STONE, SOUL EMBLEM and GLASS CORK in your Inventory; take VIAL FOR SOULS 0/2. Use the VIAL OF SOULS 0/2 on the skeleton on the right (F) to get the VIAL OF SOULS 1/2. Return to the Plateau.

Use the VIAL OF SOULS 1/2 on the skeleton (G) to get the VIAL OF SOULS 2/2. Return to the Cave. Use the VIAL FOR SOULS 2/2 on the obelisk (H); take the GUARDIAN SYMBOL (I). Return to the Plateau.

Place the GUARDIAN SYMBOL on the rock wall on the right (J); activate SEARCH. Congratulations! You have successfully completed Paranormal Activity: Trial of the Worthy Collector’s Edition.
