Vampire’s Fall Origins: Guide for Beginners

Creating a new character. To start the game, press "Start" and click "Empty Slot" to create a character. Then select his name and gender, and customize the appearance of the hero by setting individual appearance parameters. Choose the appearance of the hero carefully. Keep in mind: in the future, you will no longer be able to change the skin color of the hero, and other elements of his appearance (hairstyle, beard, etc.) will have to be bought. After creating a character, you will need to decide on his pedigree, which will give certain game bonuses. After choosing a bloodline, you will be able to enter the game and begin the first quests of the campaign.

Basic gameplay. In this game, you will need to complete quests related to the main storyline. Completing quests determines your progress in the campaign and is required to unlock the main game features. Side quests are optional, but reward you with gold and experience. Your inventory is located in the top center of the screen. You can also check quests and assign bloodline points after leveling up in that area.

Armor and weapons. Armor helps reduce the damage you take, but too heavy gear reduces your chances of dodging attacks. Balance carefully. Your main weapon greatly affects the damage dealt by your character. Be sure to buy stronger weapons as soon as possible, and upgrade your current weapons with redstones after your first respawn.

Map. When traveling long distances or in unfamiliar places, use the map in the upper right corner. Zoom in on the location you are heading to and touch the location where you are heading from. Further, after exiting the map to the playing field, a blue direction arrow will appear, and the circle of the map will indicate in which direction you need to move.

Occasionally, your character may be in a place on the map from which it is impossible to get out. If you can’t get out no matter which direction you go, you can escape by clicking the "Stuck" button in the bottom right menu.

Red stones. Red stones can be used to complete dungeons. At the same time, you will receive a special reward for the first passage of each dungeon. Red gems are also used to upgrade your gear. As a general rule, you should hoard red gems to upgrade mangrove huts or dungeon sets, as these are the most powerful items in the game. Red stones can be obtained in various ways. Among them:

Gold. Gold is the main currency in the game. It is the easiest to accumulate, and it can be used to buy all the important game items. Gold cannot be obtained through microtransactions. There are quite a few ways to earn gold, but the three most common are:

Additional ways to get gold. Along with the above, use the following methods to earn the main currency of the game:

What are the shards for? Shards are the currency used to purchase hero customization items. They can also be spent on:

How to get shards? Ways to get shards:

Death of a hero. When the hero’s health drops to 0, he dies and respawns in the nearest city that he visited or completed as part of the quests. In doing so, you will lose some gold, the amount of which depends on your level.

Vampire’s Fall Origins: Pedigree Guide

Concept and pumping. The bloodline is the skill tree of the player character. For its pumping, pedigree points are used. The attributes you give your vampire can give you a vital advantage in combat.

Glasses. Wrath points increase your choice of weapon damage, main attack, critical hits, and counterattacks. Vitality points increase your vampire’s overall health and focus, fortify them, and make it easier to restore focus. Deception points make your vampire more profitable in battle, give you extra experience points and money. It also allows you to develop your vampire’s dodge and shield block abilities.

Legendary pedigrees. Legendary Bloodlines is a new skill tree of 25 skills. They are available after level 60. Leveling up further grants one legendary bloodline point per level (40 total at level 100). Legendary bloodline points can also be earned in dungeons.

Wrath category skills:

Vitality category skills:

Skills category "Deception":

Legendary Bloodline Skills:

Change/reset skills and abilities. In situations where you want to test different builds or make a mistake with the choice of abilities and pedigree, you can "reassign" them. To reset bloodline points, head to Avan. Talk to Anne the Destroyer northeast of the city center (marked on the map with circled arrows). Anna will offer you two options: "Reset All" or "Reset Legendary". Standard bloodline points cost 100 gold per level (i.e. level 42 = 4200 gold). Legendary bloodline points cost 300 gold per level.

Vampire’s Fall Origins: All about the abilities of the hero

Concept. Abilities are buffs, debuffs, or attacks used in combat against players or hostile non-player characters (NPCs). There are 3 types of abilities:

Control. Control contains 3 attack abilities and 1 weaken ability.

Instinct. Instinct contains 2 buff abilities, 1 attack ability, and 1 weaken ability:

Power. Power is a powerful ability that can be obtained by standing in the Sacred Bush Circle and defeating its Pillar Guardians. Contains 6 empowering abilities:

Vampire’s Fall Origins: Character Rebirth

Concept. After fulfilling certain requirements, the hero can make a rebirth. After that, its characteristics will be increased, as well as improved mining opportunities on the map. In this case, the character will retain all his resources, weapons and armor. The only progress that resets after rebirth is the main quest and side quests.

Conditions for rebirth. To perform the hero’s rebirth, you need:

  1. Complete the "Hunting for Sava" quest.
  2. Reach the minimum level required to be reborn at the appropriate stage.

The minimum levels for rebirth are marked in the table below:

rebirthLevel
Normal55+
agonizing62+
Horrible62+
Nightmarish69+
Hell71+
infernum73+

The main effects of rebirth. Consequences of rebirth:

Vampire’s Fall Origins: Using Equipment

Weapon. The game offers you a choice of many different types of weapons to destroy monsters. Three main types of weapons: blunt, slashing and piercing.

Along with their primary attack type, some weapons offer additional benefits, from boosting a character’s health to poisoning enemies. Compare all your weapons before you equip them. Equipping the right gear can have vital benefits during combat. Some weapons can be thrown at the enemy. If such a weapon finds its target, then it, as a rule, takes huge damage.

Keep in mind that if the weapon throw fails to finish off the enemy or is blocked by the enemy, the vampire who threw the weapon remains unarmed and is forced to end the fight on her own, ie. fists. Be careful when throwing your weapon.

Raincoats. Cloaks are a type of accessory in the game. Many of them can be obtained for use in combat, and they are mostly dropped by defeating Beasts. There is one slot in the equipment for the cloak - it is located on the back of the character. Cloaks are divided into 4 types of rarity: rare, unique, legendary and mythical. Listed below are examples of some cloaks and Beasts that must be defeated in order to obtain them.

Armor. Armor is your main defense against enemies. To further increase your armor, equip shields in your left hand. Armor points are converted to a resistance value. This is the % damage reduction for that damage type. The following types of armor are available:

When you break armor, you can reduce enemy resistances to negative values, but there is a hard limit (roughly -30%). Bleeding "dumps" and poisonous "pincers" bypass armor resistance. Although this results in them not benefiting from the negative value mentioned above.

Vampire’s Fall Origins: Gear Upgrade Guide

Equipment improvement. The process of upgrading a piece of equipment costs 1 red gem. You have a base chance of success, which decreases based on the number of upgrades you already have and the type of item.

The gold value and quality of the item does not affect this chance. Each successful upgrade increases the item’s stats (with the exception of the HP bonus on respawn and CC or instinct abilities on cloaks, which only increase at certain upgrade levels). Each item can be upgraded to a maximum of +10.

Item enhancement level. In addition to upgrading, you can also upgrade an item and increase its rarity to the next level. This is a guaranteed result that does not depend on any random success factor. Each level of promotion requires that you reach the desired level of rebirth. It also requires the item to have a minimum number of completed enhancements (+3 for Enhanced, +5 for Superior, and +7 for Flawless) and cost a certain amount of Redstones depending on the item’s type.

Decoupling. For 5 shards from an upgraded item, upgrades can be dropped in exchange for a fixed amount of bloodstones. The values ??differ depending on the element type:

Vampire’s Fall Origins: How to get familiars?

How to get and equip familiars? Initially, in order to get familiars, you need to destroy certain monsters. Next, after unlocking the option, visit one of the familiar shops in Denumald, select the one you want and tame it. All stores sell the same familiars. To equip new familiars, go to your inventory, click "Customize", then click on the paw print, scroll through the list and stop at the familiar you want to use.

Types of familiars. All familiars are classified into three categories:

Blood familiars. Blood Familiars are basic familiars that can be bought in the shop after completing the given initial quests:

Mythological familiars. To get them, you need to complete more difficult quests. Mythological familiars are more expensive, but much more effective than regular ones.

Unique familiars. Elite familiars:

Vampire’s Fall Origins: Combat System

The battle. Combat in the game takes place step by step and in real time. The player can choose one action during a normal turn, limited by the amount of focus.

After a few normal moves, a combo move is activated. Like normal moves, a combo move is limited by the amount of focus available. The battle ends when the player or enemy dies.

Combo moves. Combo moves are often found in combat. At the beginning of a combo turn, a character can receive a boost and an increase in health, depending on his characteristics and bloodlines. During a combo move, a character can choose several actions from the "Weapon", "Instinct", and "Control" list, if focus and the equipped weapon allow. A character can choose the same action only three times in one combo move, and no more than 6 abilities in total. Combo attacks (attacks that cost FP) are only limited by the hero’s focus, but must be performed before you have 6 abilities, otherwise the attack queue will be considered full.

Vampire’s Fall Origins: PvP Features

General. To unlock the PVP mode, you need to reach Marid’s Dueling Lair. You can reach a rank on the leaderboard starting at rank 19 and dropping down to rank 0 at the top of the leaderboard (rank 0 is the highest, newbies start at rank 20).

Selection of players. PvP combat is turn-based and real-time. At the same time, you compete with players who are online, have the same level of character development and equipment enhancement as you. If suitable players are not found within a few seconds of starting the search, the system will increase the allowable difference in player levels.

End of the fight. After the fight, the winning player gets fangs, while the loser loses them. When you get a certain number of fangs, your rank goes down and the fangs reset to 0. In PvP, players’ health increases by a factor of (3) to increase the duration of the fight and prevent one-hit kill scenarios. Although it is possible to kill a player in one combo move.

Seasonal rewards. At the end of each PvP season, players are rewarded with experience points, gold, redstones and shards, and legendary bloodline points. The amount of rewards depends on the rank of the player.

Vampire’s Fall Origins: How to use potions?

Use of potions. Potions can be crafted, bought from potion vendors, or randomly obtained during quests. While potions can be bought, they cannot be sold.

Character death instantly restores health and teleports the character back to the city they last visited for far less coins than buying health potions.

Types of potions. By default you have 4 slots to equip 4 potions. The Traveler bloodline skill adds another additional inventory slot for potions. Kinds:

Vampire’s Fall Origins: Monster Guide

Monster types. There are a lot of monsters spawning in the game, and killing them is one of the easiest ways to get gold and experience quickly. There are many types of enemies that can be divided into three main groups:

Although some of the enemies in the game are human, the term "Monster" is used to refer to anything that can be fought.

Monster statistics. All monsters have the following characteristics:

  1. They have an HP bar that you need to get down to zero in order to win the fight.
  2. They have at least one attack, often more.
  3. They set resistances and weaknesses for the types of damage you can deal.
A specific monster will always give you the same amount of gold and experience (not counting bonuses from Rebirth).

Where to find monsters? Each type of monster has at least one location where they are sure to spawn:

Vampire’s Fall Origins: All about Beasts

Who are the Besties? Beasts are monsters scattered throughout the game world. They are very strong, so defeating them grants huge rewards, including some unique items that cannot be found anywhere else. Each Beast has specific combat characteristics, which distinguishes them from other types of monsters, which are much weaker and obey the "general rules" in battles.

Where to find Besti? Some Beasts have a specific location (habitat). For example, Beast Guardians are marked on the world map, but can be found randomly in certain areas. Wild Beasts appear very rarely. To open the Beast menu in the game, click the trophy icon in the upper left corner of the screen.

What will happen after the victory over the Beasts? After defeating all the Beasts, including the three Beast Gods, you receive a reward of a certain level (bronze, silver or gold). After that, all Beasts are reset so that you can fight them again. At the same time, new Beasts will appear in the same places as the previous ones, but their characteristics will change. By defeating a group of Beasts at the current level, you move to the next category, where stronger enemies will be waiting for you. This rule does not depend on your level of rebirth.

Bestie levels. There are currently four levels of Beasts: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Epic. The first Beasts you fight are the Bronze level. The danger of Beasts and the rewards for their destruction increase dramatically with each new level. After defeating the Beast God, you get a trophy of this level and move on to the next one, where stronger enemies will be waiting for you.

Where to find Wild Beasts? Wild Beasts are randomly found in certain areas:

Beast Guards. The location of the Beast Guardians is marked on the map with a red symbol in the form of two crossed swords. After interacting with them, you are sometimes prompted to abandon the fight, and sometimes not.

The Rat Eater is only available after completing the Rats quest, which requires 20 sacrificial rats. This quest is triggered by interacting with an Unholy Tree found in the northeast of Borwood.

Daily Besties. Every day there are new daily Beasts. Just like with Wild Beasts, you need to fight them randomly in a certain area. At the same time, the strength of daily Beasts is based on the current revival, and not on their level. The approximate location of the daily Beasts is described in the second tab of the Beasts menu. The daily system offers two rewards in addition to the regular battle rewards:

The best way to find a daily Beast is to head to the city closest to its location. Open all the barrels of the Foreteller there to get a Wild Beast bonus for 45 minutes with a high probability. This bonus stacks with Demon Summon, which will help you find your daily Beast even faster.

Gods of Bestia. These three Beasts have some common features with other monsters of this type:

To fight the Beast God, you must defeat all of his Beasts. Defeating God Beast is often the goal of the chapter and is a good indicator of whether you are ready for your next rebirth.

Vampire’s Fall Origins: Guide to battles with daily Beasts

Concept. Daily Beasts are a type of Beasts. Every day the player is faced with the task of finding and defeating one of them. Their approximate location can be found in the Daily Beasts menu, accessible from the second tab of the Beasts window. Although these monsters are Beasts, their strength depends on rebirths, not levels. For example, a daily Brute on normal difficulty always has 5210 HP, even if it is gold. On the other hand, in Hell, daily Beasts have 83897 HP (with some minor variations +- a few hundred), even without going through the bronze level.

Basic Rewards. Hunting and defeating the daily Beast is a great way to increase your gold and experience. In addition, achieving consecutive victories brings additional rewards in the form of a streak system:

The location of the daily Beasts. Daily Beasts can only appear in certain locations. As with the Wild Beasts, you need to enter the area in order to force the enemies to attack you.

Vampire’s Fall Origins: Secrets of the battles with Wild Beasts

Mother of wolves. Roams the forests of Avan and will attack any traveler foolish enough to deviate from the main road. The screenshot above shows the habitats. She is attracted to the smell of waffle flower, so only the most daring hunters use this scent. This giant beast can lower your resistance, so you need to deal enough damage to the Beast as soon as possible. The Mother of Wolves has three actions: a standard melee attack, a double melee attack, and a debuff that reduces the player’s resistance.

Xafhan the Unseen. A cruel spirit that dwells in the Kamengrad ruins. Once he was one of the most respected and notorious professors of Kamengrad University. His obsession with corrupting the ruins of Kamengrad led him to the grim undead he now leads. This is the first Wild Beast to use ranged attacks. It is best to use a shield against his spells, however remember that the enemy can inflict blunt blows. Weak to dark damage.

Trio of Tusks. One of the three Beasts who are actually several monsters (the other two are Spirit Brothers and Gaunt). They need to be defeated in one battle without a break. Enemies get stronger and start dealing more damage when you defeat one of them, so it’s a good strategy to stay focused for the first two fights while preparing for the last one. All three monsters have the same weaknesses and resistances. It is impossible to get a cloak for defeating the Tusk Trio.

Lernay. The habitat area is shown in the screenshot above. One of his most dangerous stats is that, due to his size, it’s impossible to predict what types of damage he resists and what he fears. In addition, he has a fairly large amount of health, so an unprepared player is better off not challenging him, at least without good hunting practice.

Curse of Endysea. To find this Beast, you need to find an extinguished fire near a small building in the southwest corner of the Valley of Shadows. This is a fairly difficult opponent. Very heavy for magic damage and high health. Don’t be put off by her overgrown crawler appearance: Beast’s dodge is moderate, and her ranged attacks deal magic damage rather than piercing.

Servant of Styx. He doesn’t need a special build until the highest respawn, as he’s weak to stun weapons, fire spells, and also pierce, so this includes most existing builds. If you’re into melee combat, be prepared to keep a little Focus ready for petrification, as the Servant of Styx is capable of dodging.

Enigma

Of all the Beasts, Enigma is perhaps the most mysterious. It exists everywhere, but shows itself only when it wants to. Appears as a giant ghost in the form of his Riddlers - strange hermits who seem to be his devoted heralds - and wields destructive spells. To find Enigma:

  1. Find each of the five puzzlers and successfully answer their question about the details of the game. See the question marks on the map for their location. See the corresponding side quests for the correct answer.
  2. Once all five of the "Solve the Riddle" quest items are in "Completed" status, talk to the Riddle Master in Easthaven East, right under the N in Easthaven, and he’ll offer you a talisman.
  3. From now on, Enigma can appear in front of you wherever a random fight can happen.

Enigma will not appear in a place where you can craft potions. As with other Wild Beasts, you can stack Demon’s Call and the Seer’s Barrel Brutal buff to speed up the spawning process. You can always talk to the Riddle Master again to get rid of the talisman (assuming 5 riddle quests have been completed) or get it back. Battles with Enigma are not difficult. The main thing is to have good equipment to repel attacks.

Vampire’s Fall Origins: Secrets of the Battles with Beast Guardians

Brothers in spirit. Three powerful spirits that appear before anyone who dares to descend the stairs leading to their lair. These Beasts deal magic damage with random melee attacks. However, they are weak to darkness, so you can use bats if you don’t have enough damage to take them down quickly. Ren is the weakest of the three Beasts, followed by Tom, and Lao is the most dangerous. They have normal magic attack that can be blocked, strong magic attack that can’t be blocked, blunt melee attack. They can also spend a turn to gradually heal each other.

Seals of Gaunt. Like the Tusk Trio, the Gaunt fight is a sequence of multiple enemies. There are four versions, each stronger than the previous one: Gonti, Gontrail, Gontrail, and Gontanmus. Since Gonti is an easy one-shot even at gold level, it is recommended to use the first enemies to accumulate Focus while keeping high health in preparation for the last one. If possible, ideally time the death of the third enemy so that you start fighting Gontanmus in a combo move.

Beast of the valley. Like other beast enemies, this Beast deals mostly physical damage and has a high evasion rate, but is afraid of bleeding and fire damage. High armor and good Focus/Move is the key to surviving the Beast of the Valley. Stun builds can have some difficulty at higher levels if they can’t sustain petrification because their damage will be greatly reduced. In the fight with the Beast of the Valley, you can win a cloak that will increase the chances of evasion and focus regeneration.

Cave dweller of Kokkuberry. Unlike other troll enemies, the cave dweller is resistant to physical damage and has a lot of health, but is afraid of poison. Don’t forget to use a shield or have good armor, as his biggest attack is the classic charged rock throw that can’t be dodged. Be warned: this Beast applies strong healing over time, so be sure to use it when heavily wounded. The cave dweller has four actions: melee attack, ranged stone throw, charged stone throw, and heal over time.

Vampire’s Fall Origins: Dungeon Walkthrough

Concept. The game has 12 dungeons that can be completed multiple times, as well as the Endless Dungeon. The dungeons can be accessed through the Marid stone. Entrance to any of the dungeons requires payment in red stones. Dungeons are the only place where you can get new items from the set. Drops, like all dungeon encounters, are completely random. Also, in every dungeon (with the exception of the Endless Dungeon), you can earn legendary bloodline points.

Floors and difficulty. Each dungeon has a fixed number of floors. The higher you climb, the stronger the enemies become. Dungeons can be classified by difficulty. Low difficulty dungeons are much easier to complete. Some dungeons require respawning to enter, and some are only available during the Blood Moon event. Mainland dungeons do not require respawning.

Entry cost. To enter the dungeons, you will need to pay a price in redstones. Below is the entry fee for the different dungeons:

Name of the dungeonEntrance fee (in red stones)
Hunter’s deathfour
dull staircase6
Buried ruins of Endysea12
Tunnels of Easthaven16
Grave of the Fallentwenty
Observer’s Labyrinth9
hidden swamptwenty
Mystery of the mountains28
Soul of Darknessthirty
Remains of the Titans25
underworld32
born from blood9

The Endless Dungeon does not require respawning and costs 15 Redstones per game to enter. Progress is saved for every 10 depths, and the difficulty increases with the number of depths passed.

Endless Dungeon. The number of depths of this dungeon is infinite, progress is saved for every 10 depths. Reaching a checkpoint is rewarded with gold, experience, redstones, and dark shards. At a depth of 100, 500 and 1000, a set of items is guaranteed to drop. Resetting a dungeon does not reset the drop of guaranteed item sets at the depth at which you received them. For example, if you have reached the 100th depth and received a drop, but after resetting the progress and reaching the 100th depth again, you will not receive the drop.

Vampire’s Fall Origins: Conclusion

Vampire’s Fall Origins is made in a dark gothic style and is a classic RPG with quests for which you get good rewards and increase the level of game development. Here you will find vicious enemies presented in the form of frightening monsters, a huge number of NPCs, each of which will have something to say to you, and a variety of pumping elements, including familiars, the development of a family tree and abilities. Pros of the game:
