Day R Survival: Guide for leveling a character, his abilities
Unified level of character development. Searching locations, winning a battle, creating items and other actions increase the experience of survival. When this experience is enough, the level increases. For each level, starting from the 3rd, the character receives research points (RP), which are used to open the schemes of objects (for example, a scheme for assembling a bicycle). Initially, all schemes are closed and unavailable for use. To open them, you need to pump to a certain level and spend the required RP. Upon reaching the maximum level 100, the character is guaranteed to study all the schemes, but in the process of pumping, you will have to prioritize and choose what the player needs at the moment!
How do I get experience? Experience can be obtained for:
- Completing quests;
- Victory in battle;
- Full search of buildings;
- Dismantling of broken vehicles;
- Creation of some items for the levels relevant to them;
- Buy from the store for caps;
- Get +50 experience points for reading a dusty book;
- Disassembling furniture in the early stages of the game;
- For completing daily tasks;
- In the store, you can buy an experience bonus and get twice as much experience for several real days.
Hero abilities. Each level, starting from the 10th, the player can choose a new ability or improve one of those already learned. So, for example, "Rifle Specialist" will increase the bonus to damage from the corresponding weapon by 5% for each pumped level up to a maximum of 25%. Not all abilities are so simple, some can significantly change the tactics of survival. The "Avenger" counterattacks in battle with a pistol, and the "Raw Eater" can safely eat raw meat without fear of getting sick. However, fasting will harm his health 5 times more.
But it is impossible to get all passive bonuses, each new level will have to be carefully weighed and make a choice from 3 randomly offered (the Premium version will expand this choice to 5). At the moment, 63 abilities have already been developed: 33 of them are combat and 30 are peaceful. Do not be alarmed, you do not have to choose between 3 potentially useless ones, they will be selected based on your level. So a beginner will never be offered an ability, for example, that increases damage to people, because at the very beginning the player does not face them.
Important abilities. Some abilities have a note - important, in the current version they are Strategy and Tactics. Important abilities are always available for selection at their levels and, if they are not taken, they will be available at the next, until they are chosen. This feature can be used to select the necessary abilities (for example, if another one you need appears with an important ability, then feel free to take it, the important one will be available again at the next level).
Day R Survival: Search Engine, Recreation & Cooking
Scene. Scene is a new interface in locations where you can see an image of the area. It is in the scenes that the searches and the hunt will be carried out. In addition, various game events sometimes take place here. If desired, the player can explore the biome and go further - to the next random scene. For each location, appropriate images were prepared to convey their atmosphere. The screenshot below shows a few of them:
Search in locations. Thanks to the new Scene interface, searching in city locations has become much more convenient. The "Search" button does not need to be pressed several times - just one click and the search will begin, which will be completed after finding all possible items. The player sees in what order the items will be found, and, if necessary, can interrupt the search. And later to resume - then it will immediately start from the same place where it was suspended.
The new interface has a button for faster and more convenient replacement of the lighting object (for example, to remove the flashlight when it is no longer needed). While searching in locations, you can stumble upon closed gates, doors or hatches. To continue searching, you need to open them. Each door or lock will have up to 3 pick methods. The main difference between the two is the time taken:
Only the simplest doors can be opened with your hands. For more complex ones, you will have to look for tools. The tool used will lose strength in this case. As soon as the lock is opened, the search will continue automatically. Each location can have no more than one closed door.
Rest. The player can choose the hour of the day or night when the character should wake up. To do this, you just need to move the red slider on the timeline. Above the scale, you can see how much health, food, water and energy indicators will change during this time:
Initially, when opening the interface, the time is always chosen so that the energy is fully restored, so all that remains is to confirm. Upon confirmation, sleep occurs almost instantaneously through screen dimming. You cannot rest longer than 24 hours.
Cooking. Cooking is available immediately at the first level of the character. By clicking on the corresponding button in the diagrams, the culinary system window will open. Unlike other skills, recipes do not need to be opened for research points, they can all be used from the very beginning of the game, but they will be hidden from the player in the culinary system:
On the left side of the screen, in the "Ingredients" field, all the products available in the inventory for cooking are displayed. By clicking on an ingredient, you can move it to the central Recipe field. If you want to add ingredients, just click on them a few times. You can remove unnecessary ones in the same way - by clicking on its icon in the central field.
The selected ingredients will determine the dish to be cooked. If you choose the right products and guess the recipe for a certain dish, then it will be cooked (for example, from 2 fish, 2 units of water and 1 unit of salt, you will get a wonderful fish soup). If the set does not match any of the dishes, then a chowder will be prepared. It can be simple, hearty, or rich, depending on the total nutritional value of the selected ingredients.
Fishing. Fishing is an element of the gameplay that allows you to fish or get caviar in water bodies. To do this, you need to be on the shore or on the water, and have a fishing rod and bait with you. Starting from v.675, fish can also be caught in swamps and radioactive swamps. Freezing of reservoirs does not affect the ability to fish. Different amounts of fish bite on different baits:
- Rusks and Infected rusks (up to 1 fish);
- Rotten vegetables (up to 4 fish);
- Rotten porridge (up to 4 fish);
- Rotten meat (up to 4 fish);
- Rotten fish (up to 4 fish);
- Naval pasta (up to 3 fish);
- Boiled pasta (up to 3 fish);
- Boiled buckwheat (up to 3 fish);
- Boiled rice (up to 3 fish);
- Raw meat (up to 3 fish);
- Raw fat (up to 3 fish);
- Rat meat (up to 3 fish);
- Snake meat (up to 3 fish);
- Tough meat (up to 3 fish);
- Fatty meat (up to 3 fish);
- Mutant meat (up to 3 fish).
Fishing success does not depend on the time of day and is 75%. Chance to catch eggs while fishing:
- Homemade fishing rod - 0%;
- Sturdy fishing rod - 15%;
- Great fishing rod - 25%.
At your favorite fishing spots, it is recommended to put at least a hut or a tent to increase the shelf life of the catch and bait. The number of fish caught depends on the ability of the Fisherman, the ability does not affect the amount of eggs found.

Day R Survival: Combat Basics Guide
Battle map. A battle map is a field of 7x7 cells, on which a battle with opponents takes place. Depending on the type of biome, the map can look different: from a clear field to fortified bases. You can move around the map in any direction if the end cell is free and the passage to it is not blocked. Cages that you can stand on are highlighted in green. Each card contains a specific set of objects, some of which can be destroyed by shots or explosives. Destroyable objects are highlighted in orange. The properties of objects affect all characters: the Survivor, allies, pets and enemies.
Types of objects. These include:

Day R Survival: Essential Survival Items Review
Medicines. Medicines are medicines used to treat illnesses and injuries, as well as those used to reduce harmful effects on vital signs. In this game, almost all drug names are fictitious. Getting medicines:
- Most of the drugs can be found in medical institutions (pharmacies, clinics, hospitals), at the bases of bandits, the corpses of hermits, and can also be made by yourself in the "Health" item crafting tab;
- Cigarettes can be found all over the place.
Tools. Tools are equipment in Day R. According to game mechanics, each of the tools is an item. The main function of the tools is to help the character create various objects according to known schemes. They are also necessary for such important actions as obtaining firewood, repairing equipment, cooking, building, fishing, butchering animal carcasses, overcoming obstacles and some other options, for example, completing storyline text quests.
If there are several copies of the same tool in the Survivor’s inventory, the more worn one will be used first; in the presence of several varieties of one of the types of tools - a "lower quality", regardless of the degree of wear (the exception is a tin can in the role of utensils). All instruments can be divided into several types:
- Tools - items used in assembling, disassembling and repairing vehicles, weapons and other mechanical items, opening boarded up and weapon boxes. If you need "tools" to perform a certain action, any of the following items will do.
- Axes are items used for gathering firewood, building, butchering animal carcasses, and opening boarded up and weapon boxes. Can be used as an armor-piercing melee weapon (except for a chainsaw). If an "ax" is required to perform a certain action, any of the following items will do (except for a chainsaw).
- Knives are items used primarily for cooking and butchering animal carcasses. Can be used as a melee weapon. If a "knife" is required to perform a certain action, any of the following items will do. In some cases, a homemade spear is also suitable as a knife.
- Needles are items used primarily for making and repairing clothing and armor, and are also needed for sewing lacerations. If a "needle" is required to perform a certain action, any of the following items will do; if a "strong needle" - only sewing and steel will do.
- Shovels are items used for burying corpses and skeletons, as well as for construction. If a "shovel" is required to perform a certain action, any of the following items will do.
- Scrap - items used in the dismantling of vehicles, the extraction of refractory bricks from destroyed furnaces and opening boarded up and weapon boxes. If a "scrap" is required to perform a certain action, any of the following items will do.
- Hacksaws are items used when disassembling vehicles and some components for scrap, creating some types of weapons and armor, cutting up bee carcasses. If a "hacksaw" is required to perform a certain action, any of the following items will do.
- Fishing rods are items used for fishing.
- Items are items needed for cooking food and making explosives and ammunition.
- Sources of fire - items needed to light a fire.
Armor. Armor is equipment in the game Day R. There is a separate slot for armor in the equipment window, so, in fact, this is one of the main equipment in the game. The main role of armor is to protect the Survivor from radiation and damage received in battle. But the number of starting and maximum action points in battle, their recovery per turn, no longer depends on the armor worn on the character. It depends directly on the abilities of the character. In battle, with the armor on, damage will first take place according to "armor points", and only after they are reduced to 0 - on health.
The strength of the armor decreases only when receiving damage against it during battles (with the exception of a chemical protection suit - its strength also decreases over time). When the strength decreases, the armor gives less "armor points" to the Survivor (for the loss of each 1% of the strength of the armor, 0.5% of its starting "armor points" is lost). When repaired, "armor points" are restored. When using armor in auto-combat mode, its durability is reduced by the maximum wear level.
Day R Survival: Vital Signs
Concept. Vital indicators are indicators by which the player can determine the current state of his character. As any of them approaches the critical mark, the contours of the parameter begin to highlight in red. In the image (from left to right): Health, Food, Water, Vigor:
Health. Health is the main game vital indicator. Upon reaching zero, your character dies. Health decreases in battles, during illness, with zero values ??of food and water, with a high level of radiation exposure, as well as with the use of certain medications and food.
- Health improves during sleep, with normal values ??for all of the above parameters. Health can also be improved with some food and some medications.
- With the help of the big man ability, you can increase the maximum amount of health to 150.
- The maximum amount of health can be modified by buffs or debuffs.
Food and water. Essential vital signs to be monitored constantly. Decrease over time (during movement, performing any actions and during sleep, as well as when taking certain medications). They vary from 100 to 0, and after reaching zero, health gradually begins to decrease.
- Eat food and drinks to reduce hunger and thirst.
- With the help of the abilities of the fat and the camel, you can increase the maximum amount of food and water to 150.
- The maximum amount of food and water can be modified by buff or debuff.
Cheerfulness. A vital indicator that determines the amount of energy of a character. Decreases during the performance of various actions (movement, searches, crafting). At zero vivacity, the protagonist faints (sleep).
- Increased by rest (sleep), some food and some drugs.
- Using the energetic ability, you can increase the maximum amount of vigor to 150.
- The maximum amount of vigor can be modified by buffs or debuffs.
Radiation. In-game indicator showing the current radiation dose accumulated by the character in arbitrary units. Slightly below this figure, the indicator indicates the current rate of radiation accumulation in units / hour, equal to the difference between the current external radiation background and the character’s current defense. The radiation dose accumulates when you are in an area with radioactive contamination: almost all cities, a radioactive wasteland, a radioactive forest, a radioactive swamp.
Also, radiation increases with the consumption of some food, dirty water and when the Dark Crystal is discharged. With the accumulation of 100 points of radiation, the hero will receive mild radiation sickness, with the accumulation of 200 points of radiation, the hero will receive the middle stage of the disease, and with the accumulation of a dose of 300 points, you will receive severe radiation sickness.
- The accumulated dose of radiation is reduced with the use of certain food and drinks, as well as with the preparation IR-190 and the use of the Dark Crystal.
- Radiation protection is provided by the use of armor (maximum 5 units), gas masks (maximum 7 units), Chlorocystamine (5 units per day), and the presence of the Lead skin ability (maximum 5 units).
- The background radiation level can change in both directions with the onset of certain weather events.
- The typical level of protection provided by pure gear, using the best armor and gas masks, is 12. While in some cities the background radiation level was 22 units per hour (excluding the weather).
Day R Survival: Walkthrough of the main story quests
Concept. Quests are an important element of Day R’s gameplay, tasks that make the player not just wander aimlessly through the wasteland, but go into cities, look for certain items, and interact with playable characters. At the start of a new game, an initial tutorial quest is automatically launched, which helps the player to take the first steps. It can be disabled in the settings. Then, at the beginning of a new game, the player will appear in the center of the city of Zapolyarny with the training already completed and the items obtained during its passage.
Subject quests. Big quests make up the main storyline of the game:
- In search of truth - reveals the reasons for what happened in the game world;
- The Way Home - aims to find the family of the player’s character.
Text quests. They are stages of story quests. Not only the well-being, but, often, the life of the protagonist depends on the decisions made.

Passage of the quest "The Way Home"
The Way Home is one of the main story quests in Day R. Appearing in version v.594, it replaced the "Family Matters" quest. In fact, this is the same quest, but heavily revised towards simplification. The goal is the same - to find the family of GG. Passage:
- The first 6 stages are a chain of events (flashbacks) that occur at random times during the game. During these stages, the Survivor gradually remembers the details of his past, and in particular the names of his wife and daughter.
- After the quest "In Search of Truth" is completely completed, the 7th stage is triggered with another flashback, and the Survivor gets the first real goal - his home in Gorky.
- Go to Gorky. There, go to the surviving house indicated by the quest and find an old doll there. Then go to the hospital, find 12 sheets with lists of patients in the main building, and read everything. Then go to the cafe and remember about the older sister Gali.
- Go to Perm. Find the first page of Sasha’s diary in one of the surviving houses.
- Go to Kurgan. In another surviving house, find the second page of the diary.
- Go to Barnaul. Not far from the city, find an old house and find the third page of Sasha’s diary on the ashes.
- Go to Novokuznetsk. At the base of the survivors of Stepnoy near the city, talk to Boris.
- Go to Chelyabinsk. At the base of the survivors, convince the engineer Spiridon Kugel to go with you to Ufa.
- Go to Ufa. In the armory at the military unit, find the disassembled Metis ATGM and assemble it together with Kugel. In the process, bees will attack you twice: the first time it will be a worker, the second time it will be a soldier.
- Go back to Stepnoy and talk to Boris. Take ATGM with you.
- Go to the bandits’ base near Abakan and try to attack them with an ATGM in your inventory. Before doing this, be sure to wear the best armor to reduce damage when hit to non-lethal values. Victory is guaranteed even with minimal chances.
- After waking up in Stepnoye, talk to Boris, then go to the SIZO. After talking with Sasha, go to the hospital (the magnifying glass icon on the territory of Steppe) and go through the text quest "Playing with fire" (there should be no weapons in your inventory).
- Take things and go to the place marked with a magnifying glass on the river bank. There, take care of the wounded Sasha for several days and talk to her.
- After another conversation, she will leave you.
- The quest is over.

City on wheels (Mirny)
City on Wheels is the hardest side quest in the game. It begins with a conversation with a local resident in the settlement of survivors near Irkutsk. Then, in Mirny, Vladimir gives a list of components necessary for modernizing a mining dump truck:
- Nuclear Reactor Part x3;
- Clear Water x1000;
- Steel Tools x10;
- Auto parts x500;
- Iron pipe x1000;
- X50 battery;
- Scrap metal x100,000;
- Steel x50,000;
- Lead x100,000;
- Nail x10,000;
- Wire x10,000;
- Electrical tape x1000.
All this must be delivered to Vladimir in Mirny and received by BelAZ. The main difficulty of this list is 50k of steel, as well as parts of the reactor and their delivery to Mirny. Parts of the nuclear reactor are located on the territory of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. They are guarded by three radioactive bears. When fighting them, it is desirable to use steel (or tank) armor, and weapons with a minimum damage of 200 and above (an RPG-7 grenade launcher and 3-5 shots to it are highly desirable). Each part of a nuclear reactor weighs 20 tons, so they can only be transported by KrAZ or Kamaz. And one at a time.
For the transportation of reactor parts, it is best to use the KrAZ-255 assembled near the Chernobyl NPP. Moreover, to save scarce diesel fuel, it is easier to assemble three KrAZ trucks and drive them only in one direction (to Mirny). It is advisable to return back in an electric car. It is better not to use gasoline vehicles, since a lot of gasoline will be required when smelting steel. The distance from the Chernobyl NPP to Mirny in a straight line is 4820 km. That is, about 1,750,000 diesel fuel will have to be spent on a one-way road at KrAZ (taking into account traffic errors). Therefore, it is worth stocking it up in advance.
Collecting such an amount of diesel is a long and tedious task, so it is better to buy most of the fuel on the way for the caps. They can be bought for real money in the in-game store, or received as daily rewards, and with some chance for watching advertisements for a strange TV. To get 50k of steel, you need a steel furnace. It is better to build it near Magnitogorsk, so as not to carry refractory bricks far away, since in the nearby settlement of survivors there is an exchange of chitin for bricks.
You can collect from 53k to 94k steel at unique bandit bases using the ability of a seasoned marauder of level 2. Using the tier 3 truck ability, you can transport 2 reactors at the same time, but in this case, there will be almost no room for a diesel engine in your inventory.
Cut quests. These quests are not available in the current version of Day R.
- On the road - teaches the player the basics of survival;
- Survival of the fittest - introduces the basic game mechanics;
- Chitin - upon completion, the player received chitin armor;
- Retribution - an old way of obtaining an atomic battery, was aimed at revenge on the enemies of the USSR;
- Monster Hunting is a unique quest that was available during the Halloween event.
Daily tasks. Daily tasks are tasks that are given to the player once a day in a random order. The player can choose one task from the three offered. There are 4 categories of daily quests:
- Craft - you need to create a certain number of items;
- Hunting - you need to defeat a certain number of animals;
- Search - you need to find a certain number of items or search a certain number of locations;
- Cooking - you need to cook a certain number of dishes.
The reward for completing the task can be randomly replaced with covers. The player begins to receive tasks when he reaches level 7.
There is a bug in which the player is given tasks to create items that are inaccessible to the player in the event of a character lowering after death. To prevent this from happening - open crafting schemes right after leveling up. The ability to use open circuits remains even in the event of a level loss.

Bandits

A gang of bandits. A type of wandering bandits that can be found mainly east of the Urals. The Survivors meet in groups of two or three or more people and, sometimes, a bandit dog. Armed with firearms and sometimes steel axes. After defeating them, the player will gain experience, a dog carcass and the ability to search the corpses of bandits.
By searching the corpse of a bandit, you can with a 100% probability find a weapon that was used by this bandit in battle, with a random value of durability. If the amount of the Survivor’s armor falls below 40%, a bandit with an ax can inflict dislocations, lacerations and fractures with a 25% chance. And bandits with firearms have a 20% chance of inflicting bullet wounds.
Marauders. Marauders are a type of roving bandits that can be found mainly west of the Urals. Meet the Survivor in groups of two or three. Armed with homemade, firearms, arrows and explosives. After defeating them, the player will gain experience and the opportunity to search the corpses of marauders.

In the event that the amount of the Survivor’s armor falls below 40%, the marauder with an ax can inflict dislocations, lacerations and fractures with a 25% chance. And marauders with firearms have a 20% chance of inflicting bullet wounds.
Madmen. Madman is a category of opponents that can be found in cities, on the roads between them and in the wasteland, mainly from Leningrad to the Urals. Meet the Survivor in groups of one to three people. Armed with a simple homemade weapon or ax. Attack the Survivor at random. After defeating the madmen, the player will gain experience and the opportunity to search their corpses. By searching the corpse of a madman, you can with a 100% probability find a weapon that he used in battle with a random value of durability.
If the amount of the Survivor’s armor falls below 40%, the madman with the ax can inflict dislocations, lacerations and fractures with a 25% chance. Starting in version v.671, the type of madmen encountered depends not only on the level of the zone, but also on the level of the Survivor. If you follow the quest "In Search of Truth", the first madman can be found in one of the surviving houses of Petrozavodsk.
Bees
Bees are insects that have mutated under the influence of radiation and experiments in secret laboratories, and have grown to gigantic proportions. They are found only in the radioactive zone around Ufa, and their hive is located in the center of the city. When fighting bees, the character can get injured: lacerations, acid burns. After defeating the bees, the player gets their carcass, which can be cut. This requires a knife, an ax and a hacksaw. The cutting results and their characteristics are in the table below:
Bee carcass | Cutting results |
Worker bee | Chitin: 3-5, mutant meat: 7-10, acidic iron: 0-1, honey: 1-2, lymph: 1-2. |
Bee soldier | Chitin: 5-7, mutant meat: 10-15, acidic iron: 1-3, honey: no, lymph: 2-3. |
Guardian bee | Chitin: 7-10, mutant meat: 20-30, acidic iron: 3-5, honey: no, lymph: 3-5. |
Bee queen | Chitin: 30, mutant meat: 100, acidic iron: 100, honey: 25, lymph: 50. |
The queen bee lives only in the center of the hive and only in a single copy. After death, after a game month, the queen bee is reborn, updating the location of the hive.
Wild animals
Wild animals - opponents that come across the player everywhere, throughout all the wanderings. The habitat of each of them is different, and as the character moves away from the starting zone, the animals encountered will be stronger and stronger. Most animal opponents in the game come in two flavors: normal and radioactive. Radioactive animals are stronger than normal animals. When attacked, they are marked with a corresponding icon.
All animal attacks are completely random (except for quest ones). However, all animals (except bears) are afraid of fire, so if a fire is lit next to the player or a house is built (a tent or hut will not work), then there is no need to be afraid of an attack. After defeating an animal, the player gets its carcass, which can be butchered.
Radioactive hedgehog. One of the most dangerous creatures in the wasteland, due to the presence of a huge amount of health. When fighting a hedgehog, the character can get injured. After defeating the hedgehog, the player gets a carcass that can be butchered. This requires a knife and an ax. Cutting results:
- Raw skin: 12-18;
- Fatty meat: 60-75;
- Fresh bones: 60-80;
- Raw lard: 30-50.
The hedgehog is not subject to the stun effect, but you can use a flash bang on it. Due to the fact that the mutant is deprived of armor and is invulnerable to stun, it will be better to hunt him with a PKM than with an RPG-7.
Radioactive toad. A radioactive toad is an animal that has mutated under the influence of radiation. The opponent in the game Day R. After defeating the rad. Toad, the player gets his carcass, which can be butchered. This requires a knife and an ax. Cutting results:

- Mutant Meat: 3-5;
- Lymph: 1;

Stunned. Enemy regeneration does not work if damage is dealt directly to the Survivor, i.e. damage from mushrooms or bees on the battlefield does not block this ability. Grenade damage also blocks the ability, even if the damage is only shrapnel. However, for more damage, it is worth throwing grenades directly at the enemy himself.
Radioactive turtle. A radioactive turtle is an animal that has mutated under the influence of radiation. The opponent in Day R is a mine of bones and tainted meat. Day R Survival: Transport Guide, Secrets of Getting
Concept. Transport is equipable equipment in Day R. According to game mechanics, any transport is an item. There is a separate slot for it in the equipment window. The main role of transport is to increase the speed and carrying capacity of the character. It is also required for some options, such as completing storyline text quests. Vehicle speed depends on the type of terrain, the Need for Speed ??ability, some weather conditions, and the time of day. Fuel consumption and wear rate do not depend on the driving speed and type of terrain, but only on the distance traveled.
Varieties. All transport can be conventionally divided into several categories:
- Lightweight - has a low payload and resource of use (maximum mileage), does not require fuel, however, it is available to the Survivor almost from the very beginning of the game.
- Medium - has an average carrying capacity, runs on gasoline.
- Heavy - has a high carrying capacity, runs on a diesel engine.
- Water - has an increased speed of movement on water, is not subject to wear. When entering land with a raft in the active equipment slot, it ceases to give bonuses to carrying capacity and speed (that is, the Survivor actually carries it in the inventory). Cannot be used during the winter season.
- Special - does not require fuel.
Capabilities. Survivor abilities that affect transport:
- Thrift on the motor - reduces wear (for all types of transport except for BelAZ, which does not have a degree of wear);
- Need for speed - increases speed;
- Truck - increases the carrying capacity.
Cart. A trolley is the simplest device for transporting goods. According to game mechanics, it belongs to light transport, since in the equipment window it occupies a slot intended for it. With a cart, the Survivor moves as slowly as on foot, but can carry a much larger load. The cart can be randomly found at a construction site (any sector) and in a military unit (warehouse).
When used as a vehicle, the bogie is subject to wear and tear and can be repaired. When it reaches 0% durability, it breaks into 2 bike parts. Also, the cart can be used to assemble a bicycle with a cart or disassembled into components. One of six modes of transport that does not require fuel.
The closest (to the starting point of the game) cart is usually located in Murmansk. It is best used for assembling a bike with a trolley whenever possible.
Bicycle. A bicycle is a light vehicle with a minimum carrying capacity, however, it gives a significant increase in speed compared to walking. It can be whole and broken. A whole bike can be assembled by yourself, starting at level 10; the scheme is opened for 3 research points. A Broken Bicycle can be found at random in the following buildings:
- School (gym);
- Postal office;
- Surviving house;
- The road in the cities.
When used as a vehicle, the bike is subject to wear and tear and can be repaired. When it reaches 0% durability, it becomes broken. The whole bike can be used to assemble a bike with a trolley or dismantled into parts of the bike. A broken bike can also be taken apart to pieces. When assembling a bike from level 10 to 13, the Survivor will also receive +10 experience. One of six modes of transport that does not require fuel.
At the beginning of the game, the bike is best used to assemble the bike and cart at the earliest opportunity.
Bicycle with a cart. A bicycle with a trolley is a light transport that combines the speed of a bicycle with the carrying capacity of a trolley. The only way to get a bike with a trolley is to assemble it yourself, starting at level 10; the scheme is opened for 1 research point. When used as a vehicle, a bike with a trolley is subject to wear and tear and can be repaired. When it reaches 0% durability, it breaks on a broken bike and cart with 10% durability. Also, a bike with a trolley can be disassembled into a broken bike and a trolley.
One of six modes of transport that does not require fuel. If a bicycle with a trolley is assembled from a bicycle and a trolley with a strength less than 100%, their arithmetic mean value of strength will be. When disassembled into a broken bike and trolley, the latter will have a strength equal to that of the transport being disassembled. Even though this is just a bike and a cart, the weight magically increases by an additional 6 kg.
Motorcycle. The Motorcycle Cart is the first petrol land vehicle available to the player and is a modification of the bike with a cart. It has the lowest fuel consumption among medium vehicles, but also low speed and carrying capacity. It can be whole and broken. The only way to get a motorcycle carriage is to assemble it yourself, starting at level 26; the scheme is opened for 3 research points.
When used as a vehicle, the trolley is subject to wear and tear and can be repaired. When it reaches 0% durability, it becomes broken. A broken motorcycle cart cannot be repaired, it can only be disassembled for parts. When assembling a motorbike from level 26 to 29, the Survivor will also receive +25 experience. Unlike most vehicles, an entire motorcycle cart cannot be disassembled or broken into scrap, and once broken, it cannot be repaired. Without fuel, the character actually carries a motorcycle cart on him, like all other vehicles, which are lightweight.
Motorbike. Motorcycle - gasoline vehicle. It has low fuel consumption and low carrying capacity. It can be whole, broken and disassembled. Methods of obtaining:
- Self-assembly, starting at level 38; the scheme is opened for 3 research points;
- Purchase of the Cap in the in-game store (appears when a certain progress is made in the game);
- A broken motorcycle (both with and without gasoline in the tank) can be randomly found in the following buildings: garage, auto repair shop, gas station, technical school (workshops), police station (parking and garages), military unit (garages), small base bandits, medium bandit base (garages), large bandit base (garages), road in cities;
- A disassembled motorcycle can only be obtained by disassembling a broken or whole one.

Prior to v. 666, Black Volga was rewarded for logging into the game every day for 100 days, immediately after logging into any of the profiles. After the update, it was issued to everyone who had 80 or more days of daily login. It is not possible to get it at the moment.
Unlike most vehicles, the Black Volga cannot be disassembled or broken into scrap. When the durability index reaches 0%, this car breaks down and is placed on the ground in a broken state. After the v.638 update, this car became possible to receive an unlimited number of times. Previously, you could get for a daily entrance only once, then there was an endless week with a fixed loot, which left much to be desired. This item cannot be sent by sending to another player.

You cannot take it with you, you can only collect it in these locations, that is, all the materials for assembly will have to be brought to one of them.
Unlike most vehicles, BAV-485 cannot be disassembled or broken into scrap metal. It was given out to all players who, at the time of the game update to v.614, had a BRDM-2 assembled (in the form of an opportunity to disassemble it and get a BAV-485 and a reed). Unlike its "progenitor" BRDM-2, the BAS that took its place is fueled by diesel, which makes its use extremely unprofitable.

The only broken Mi-8 in the game can be found at the airport just south of Moscow. You cannot take it with you, you can only collect it in this location, so all materials for assembly must be brought there. Conditionally, receiving the Mi-8 can be divided into 2 stages:
- Obtaining spare parts for Mi-8 at each of the listed unique bases of bandits can be found in 14-23 pieces: fortification of the Golden Dragon gang near the city of Girin, fortification of the Kamchatka gang near the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, fortification of the Magdeburg gang near the city of Magdeburg, fortification The Magadan gang near the city of Magadan, the strengthening of the Muroran gang near the city of Muroran, the strengthening of the Khabarovsk gang near the city of Khabarovsk, the strengthening of the Sangarov gang near the city of Sangar.
- Transportation of all necessary components to the airport near Moscow for the assembly of the Mi-8.
Homemade raft. A homemade raft is a watercraft that you can assemble yourself. Allows you to move on water, is not subject to wear. Also, a homemade raft is a component for creating a raft with a motor. When leaving on land with a raft in the active equipment slot, it ceases to give bonuses to carrying capacity and speed (that is, the Survivor actually carries it in his inventory). One of six modes of transport that does not require fuel. The raft was the only vehicle that required a survival skill before the skills were removed from the game.
A raft with a motor. A raft with a motor is a watercraft that can be assembled independently on the basis of a homemade raft and a chainsaw drive. Allows you to move on water, is not subject to wear. For assembly you need:
- Homemade Raft x1;
- Chainsaw x1;
- Engine Oil x1000;
- Glue or duct tape x10;
- Rags x10;
- Tires x6;
- Rope x2;
- Iron pipe x1;
- Scrap metal x5;
- Tools.
When entering land with a raft in the active equipment slot, it ceases to give bonuses to carrying capacity and speed (that is, the Survivor actually carries it in the inventory). In this case, fuel continues to be consumed. Unlike most vehicles, the motorized raft cannot be disassembled for parts. If the fuel runs out, the raft with the motor stops giving a bonus to the load capacity and speed (that is, the Survivor actually carries it in the inventory).
Electric car. An electric vehicle is a unique vehicle built on the basis of ZAZ-968, which does not require fuel. You can only get it by self-assembly. For assembly you need:
- Whole ZAZ-968 x1;
- Atomic battery x1;
- Electric motor x1;
- Battery x10;
- X10 wire;
- Tools.
Conditionally, getting an electric car can be divided into 3 stages:
- Obtaining an atomic battery. She can only be found at the unique bandit base "Fortification of the Khabarovsk Gang" near the city of Khabarovsk. You just need to come and defeat the defenders of the base.
- Getting the electric motor. It is awarded for completing the quest "Mini-hydroelectric power station" in the Tyumen settlement of survivors. We’ll have to run a lot between Tyumen, Petropavlovsk and Chelyabinsk, as well as collect some items.
- Transportation of a car (or components for a car in the city to any disassembled ZAZ), these two and all other components to any place for assembling an electric vehicle.
It is one of six types of transport that does not require fuel. The quest electric motor that Victor asks us to find is not suitable for assembling an electric car until the "Mini-HPP" quest is completed. In case of complete wear, the battery and electric motor will not disappear, but you will have to reassemble the electric vehicle. Judging by the mass of the finished electric vehicle, an internal combustion engine with a gas tank is 100 kg heavier than an electric motor with an atomic battery. The loss in lifting capacity is obviously due to insufficient torque from the electric motor, which is very realistic. This item cannot be sent by sending to another player.
BelAZ. BelAZ is a unique transport, the only way to get it is to complete the "City on Wheels" quest. Has the highest payload in the game, does not require fuel and is not subject to wear. People call it "Squirrel". Below is a list of components that need to be brought to the settlement of survivors near the city of Mirny according to the quest "City on Wheels":
- Nuclear Reactor Part x3;
- Clear Water x1000;
- Steel Tools x10;
- Auto parts x500;
- Iron pipe x1000;
- X50 battery;
- Scrap metal x100000;
- Steel x50000;
- Lead x100000;
- Nail x10000;
- Wire x10000;
- Electrical tape x1000.
Immediately after receiving BelAZ, its strength is 95%, however, it does not decrease with use. The BelAZ bought in the store did not have such a bug. Quest "City on Wheels" is considered to be the most technically difficult in the game. Previously, potatoes and whiskey were required to craft it. He also gave fried potatoes once a day. This item cannot be sent by sending to another player.
